I read tons of reviews on so many hoverboards before settling on this one and it has been a great choice. This was a Christmas gift for my 9 year old. Some reviews mentioned issues with the hoverboard not working after a little use but we have had zero problems. We charged it and it was ready to go, that simple. The battery life has lasted several hours. My son is small so I think that helps but he is able to ride it throughout the day and then just charge at night. The Bluetooth is an added bonus that he loves and it was really easy to connect. The self-balancing mode made learning to ride easy. He has taken in on pavement, gravel, through grass and even on a trail through the woods. If you are looking for a great, durable hoverboard for a kid this is an excellent choice!

Update: After posting my 1 star review, customer service emailed me and responded more frequently than my previous experience. I did have to send the original hoverboard back (sent a return shipping label), and we are on our third hoverboard from the company (replaced free of charge), as the second one had a defect right out of the box. I do appreciate the customer service rep that helped us...much better assistance than before! I'll definitely be responding back to this customer service representative with any future issues, if they occur.My son LOVED this hoverboard that he received at Christmas. However, two months in it started to continuously beep with one side working, even after calibration. I contacted GoTrax (by email, the phone number doesn’t deal with product issues), and they believe it’s a battery issue, but because I bought it on Prime Day in July it was outside of the 90 day manufacturer warranty, although it stayed in the box until Christmas. So, buyer be aware of the warranty, customer service email response is 1-2 days, and you may have better luck with the extra protection warranty offered through Bolo. I’ll update the review if a resolve is reached.

EDIT!!!This company is AWSOME!! After making my original review I got an email asking for a video of my hoverboard, I did so and in return was sent a shipping label and asked to return the hoverboard. As soon at I shipped it out a new one was shipped to me and should arrive in just a few days. I am extremely thankful for these guys and can’t wait to give my son his new hoverboard this Christmas.I bought my son this hoverboard for Christmas 2023 , so he’s used it for only about 8 months. It was working perfect fine one day the next day he turns it on it doesn’t balance out like it normally did and it’s blinking a red light on the top but the battery shows green like it’s fully charged. We charged it for a little bit anyways just to check and same thing. My son is highly upset.

it worked at fine when we first got it but a few days after it completely stopped working. we put it on the charger all night and it did not work. this is not a good product they are just scamming people

I am updating this review because the customer service on these products is great, even if this particular product did not work out for us. If you buy a Gotrax hoverboard and something doesn't work out, I strongly encourage you to contact their support team. They worked diligently with me until we came to a resolution.Our neighbors had a Gotrax hoverboard and they loved it - so we decided to give it a try. It really didn’t work well from the beginning. I should have returned it then. The right side consistently went out. We followed the directions and reset it several times - which worked until it didn’t anymore. Very disappointing to spend over $200 on something that didn’t last and has a limited return policy and no warranty at all. We are on the hunt for a new one because it was my daughter’s birthday gift and it most likely won’t be Gotrax :(

I bought this hoverboard cuz I need to commute to the bus station and also from bus station to office building. It solves my problem so I don't have to buy a car.The hoverboard is easy to charge, very stable when step on it, I spent 15 mins to learn how to ride on it and I can use it the next day.The hoverboard is also quiet, it doesn't make any noise when it's on duty. The tire looks pretty high quality and I think it should last a long while.

I got this all terrain hoverboard so I could walk I dog on the grass. This is a good option if you need a stable ride, it is heavy and sturdy. The speed is good decent, fast enough to get to places, but not super fast to feel unsafe. Bluetooth collection is easy. The speakers are loud and clear if you enjoy listening to music while riding. There are different setting and modes, I needed to use the manual to figure out, so read these carefully.
