This machine is very good for beginners and starting a business ,the instructions are nit as better as the YouTube tutorials so I do recommend watching YouTube for tutorials or instructions.Another recommendation is that size 40 isn’t big enough for adult heads it fits my teen’s head and my newborn’s head but won’t fit mine so I recommend to go ahead and buy 48 stitches so you can make any size with it. And another thing I did have to refund this items because my whole machine was shattered into pieces and it took 2 days for another one to come but other than that this is a very good product and it’s very easy too use,and if your thinking of buying pls too it’s a life changer I won’t be using a crochet hook in a while. This machine will hardly go around without stopping cranking. It’s hard to hold it still and is unstable when trying to use; there is no way to clamp it down. I’ve had it for eight months and have not been able to complete a single item, not even more than a few rounds. It is junk, IMO.

This thing is Awesome! It went beyond my expectations. I crochet and I was hoping to find something to help me fulfill my orders to save my arms from aching so much from hours of crocheting. I make a unique item that has been in high demand. So I am going to play around with this to make my pattern work. I uses all the yarn it came with and made a hat as practice and my 7 year old helped. My advice to you is this: go on youtube and search how to cast on and cast off a sentro knitting machine, how to make a hat or ear warmers with it. You watch the videos before attempting to use then watch more. This really works and it is super easy.

Entire thing is plastic, to many complain about the feet/suction cups. Need specific yarn and knowledge of knitting. This is NOT for beginners! I tried five times JUST to get it started and it missed stitches everytime. It sound like the needles were going to break, it jammed, and made a popping noise. Before I ended up breaking it I sent it back

I always look at the reviews before buying a product and almost didn't buy this because of the reviews BUT I am glad I did purchase this product! Everything was well packaged, clean, nothing was broken and it was easy to assemble. It is hard to read the instructions on how to cast the yarn onto the machine so I went to Youtube and found hundreds of videos on how to use this machine and now I'm about to finish my 3rd scarf after only having this machine 12 hours. Suggestions for possible future users of this knitting machine...Don't crank the machine at a 1000 mph!! The faster you crank the handle the more mistakes will happen like missing stitches and the yarn getting caught on the backside of the peg between the needles. Make sure the tension is correct for the thickness of yarn you are using...thick yarn = loosest tension, medium thickness = medium tension, thin thickness = tightest tension. If you take your time, work at a medium pace cranking the handle, you will produce a very nice panel or tube. Definitely a good product for the price!!

Pros:-affordable-suction cups included make a huge difference-smooth, both in how the machine works and also the needles. It doesn’t snag the yarn when in use-yarn included-I like this one more than the Loops and Threads machine I got at Michael’s! It’s quieter and smoother. I had to glue suction cups on the last machine I had, and continually had to reglue them on, as the wiggling of the machine would loosed the glue from the suction cups. Great design!Cons:-it is all plastic, so obviously it’s not going to hold up as long as a fancy one like an Addi. But this size is perfect for headbands, and Addi doesn’t make a 40 needle knitting machine-the darning needle included doesn’t fit in between the spaces well, when picking up your cast off row. I have one from my last machine (Loops and Threads) and it fits much better.-this had clearly been a return, which made me cautious about whether it would work or not. The box was dinged up, the bags were ripped, and 1 screw was missing, that’s used to make the legs more securely attached. Not necessary, but they do help.

THIS MACHINE USED TO BE GOOD. When i bought one 2 years ago it was amazing. Better then an addi. I had to exchange it twice and my gma just sent me the money aftet a while bec she was the one who got them for me and was tired of me having to send them back. WHAT HAPPENED?!? It dropped HALF MY STITCHES. Iv used the same yarn as my old one and it drops drops drops. WHAT IS THIS?!?! I CANT EVEN RETURN THIS GARBAGE. THIS IS JUST TRASH. THIS IS HORRABLE QUALITY. WHAT HAPPENED?!?! These used to be GOOD! Its like they decided to use cheaper or worse materials or something ITS UNUSABLE. What a waste. Guess the homless dont get their hats this year bec there is no way i can afford a Addi or a new one. THIS IS HORRID. DO NOT BUY A SENTRO. The quality has GONE. There is NO QUALITY left. Trash. Not even worth donating the machine itself. Pathetic.

The media could not be loaded. Compramos este juguete para Navidad y al probarlo (además de que las instrucciones vienen sólo en inglés y en chino) vimos que no cumple su función. La primera vuelta de lana si la enganchan bien las agujas, pero la segunda, dónde debe empezar a tejer, empieza a escaparse la lana, por lo que la tejedora no llega hacer su cometido. Una decepción.

Die Maschine funktioniert nur mit ganz dünner Wolle und dadurch sind die Maschen sehr grob und löschrig.Die Kurbel lässt sich mit etwas dickeree Wolle schlecht drehen und lässt dann dadurch sehr oft Maschen fallen, was zum wieder auftrennen führt.Leider war das ein Weihnachtsgeschenk und der Karton zerstört und somit konnte das Gerät nicht zurück geschickt werden. Für den Preis echt mies.Nicht zu empfehlen.
Great introduction to circular knitting machines!
Most of the bad reviews for Sentro knitting machines pertain to the smaller models. I bought the Sentro 48 rather than the Addi King because I wasn't sure if I'd actually use it much. Turns out, it's the toy I've always wanted! The quick and beautiful results make this an almost addictive hobby. As soon as I finish one project I want to start another. Some people have problems with their counters but mine is holding up very well so far. (I know I can attach one of the little purple ones if this counter fails at some point.) For the price, I don't think you can go wrong with this machine.
