I purchased this for my boy for his 7th birthday this is nice chess set, my kids are like it. It got pretty chess pieces and there’s multiple levels and other game to pay besides chess. That is helpful for beginners, he can play by himself and sometimes he plays with sister. I believe he can be more smart on chess.

I really like this set. Most of all the pieces are magnetic and "stick" to the board, so you don't have to play this at a table, and my 9 year old could probably take this is the car or on a plane on trips. I love this board game! It's easy to use and fun for all ages! If you can try it, go and buy for everyone you care about!

The big problem with this electronic chess board is that it "freezes" frequently and the only way to continue is to restart the game. After doing this several times midway in a game, I just gave up and returned for refund. Bad electronics. Also, the instructions are very poor and in chenglish. Interpreter needed.

The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent electronic chess set that teaches you how to play. It features a variety of game modes, range of CPU levels, chess puzzles, and a tutoring option. Setting up a normal game is quick and easy.The chess pieces and board are great, it does help view the board all at once helping with board awareness. The chess pieces also stay on the board well since they have magnets in their bases. Pressing on a piece when making moves seems to be very responsive and consistently registers moves. A standout feature is how effectively this electronic chess set teaches the player. You can set a tutor mode where a voice will guide you through plays and warn you if a potential bad move is being made or if you're in danger. You can also take back moves if you see a better play or want to get out of a bad situation. Overall, this electronic chess set is amazing for teaching and guiding players on how to play chess. It also provides a bunch of puzzles, a voice tutoring option, and provides plenty of challenge for more advanced players. Highly recommended!

I am very satisfied with this product. Fun to play, many different levels. Compact but sturdy, nice little chess pieces, intuitive menu, many play levels from absolute beginner to expert, very sensitive board. It’s possible to review a game after it’s completed, or saved, using the two player analysis mode. I like it’s playing style at low levels as it resembles human play. Very easy to start up, excellent programs to help improve your chess game.

If you're looking for a set with strong program that also has very nice feel (and human like program built in) but also needs to be portable, this device can't be beat; at least for now. Why? Because this one is of very high quality, portable, and also has tactile feedback , which makes you feel like you're playing against a real person. It also allows you to change the chess piece designs (a big bonus). The sensor board also has just enough give that provides a positive feedback so that you know your move will register accurately. Of course, it also does a "thump" that tells you, yep, you made your move. Finally, the pieces have magnets underneath and holds onto the board fairly securely so it would be perfect playset if you're on a bus or on a plane.
