It would be nice if these were 2-3 inches longer. The protective cup is a pain to get into the pouch inside the shorts. The pouch is too small. The Velcro holds hockey socks great

I’ve used several hockey shorts before but these are the best. They are super lightweight and breathable. The cup is the same as the ones in my other shorts but they work better with these shorts. The sewn in Velcros work great with my hockey socks and saves on tape. I wish I had them on my other shorts as well. Would definitely purchase again. Highly recommended.

I got these to replace my old shock doctor hockey jock, which was the boxer brief style and fit snuggly against the body. This new jock is loose and a slightly different style. Overall it's fine but it feels incredibly stripped down and simplified. The cup itself is well made and very similar to the one I used before, offering good protection and comfort. The shorts on the other hand are incredibly simple, just a pair of very basic mesh shorts with two simple straps to keep the cup in place. I wish the cup was more secure like my old jock, with an actual stitched pocket secured to the entire front of the shorts. This has a pocket but it's only stitched on a few places and the cup moves around a bit. The rest of the shorts are pretty flimsy and it doesn't offer much support or stability to keep the cup in place. The Velcro tabs are great for keeping your socks in place. Overall they're fine and do the job for a hockey jock, maybe I just prefer the more comparison style for my usage.
