This is by far the best deal in a glucose test meter. I always believed that diabetic supplies was a total rip Off. This meter definitely proofed that thought. Thank God my insurance covers all my diabetic needs, but I know many people out there doesn't have that option and that's why I'm writing this review. If your a diabetic you know what I'm talking about with the high cost everything around diabetes. This meter is fast, easy to use, comes with a very nice case and replacing the test strips is unbelievable 100 strips for under $20.00 all this is truly unbelievable!!! So you can buy this meter all the supplies that comes with it for under $20.00 the pharmaceutical companies should be ashamed!!!!Polly

Works great, indicates that cutting way down on my carbs is helping control my blood sugar level. My friend (an inspector) used to tell me "What gets measured, gets improved" and that's proving true for me. I'm more careful with what I eat and avoiding late night snacking, knowing that I will test my blood in the morning.Plus, it's encouraging my walking, since I see that after over-eating I can still improve my numbers with a brisk walk. After one of my wife's wonderful holiday meals (which I couldn't resist over eating) I measured my blood sugar - it was way higher than ideal. I walked almost an hour at a brisk pace, when I returned my blood sugar was exactly 100. I'm not excusing too much indulgence, but it's nice to know that a good walk helps. Measuring definitely helps me with encouraging good habits, without measuring I get more easily discouraged in the battle for good eating habits.

I bought this to monitor my blood sugar, but I am not diabetic. I measured post meal, 1 hour post meal, fasting (1st thing in am), and I got answers anywhere from 96 to 140, within minutes of each test--re-testing on different fingers each time I sat down to test--to test for accuracy. The number were all over the place.

It's a nice, simple kit that contains all for easy portability.I met some problems in the process of operation and use, I consulted the customer service, and it was quickly solved for me.Ten tests so far, and the results are accurate. This is exactly what I need. It's a good way to monitor my health.Overall, I am happy and recommend this set.
