Very happy with this mantel! We moved into an older home, and the fireplace just didn’t look complete without a mantle over it. This one fit the bill, and looks great without breaking the bank. Good quality and easy install!

This mantle lives up to its good reviews. It arrived carefully boxed. Out of the box it was in perfect condition. Everything needed to install it was in the box. Screws & anchors for drywall and brick and even a tiny level for accuracy. You can tell the manufacturers wanted you to be successful in the installation. It took us about 20 min ( and that was only because we live in an old house and the studs weren't where we thought they'd be - were in construction and have experience ). Once installed the metal bracket which the mantle slides over is STURDY. The whole thing is STURDY. Looks beautiful too. The wood staining let's the wood grain shine through! We couldn't be happier with this mantle. Eventually, we'll put a small TV where the art is.

Purchased the hollow version. Sturdy, lightweight & install was simple. The black seems to be more of a brown-black in color but we are still pleased with this purchase.

Great price for a great shelf! For the price, I expected it to be cheap and disappointing in person but the look, size and sturdiness have not disappointed. There were a few minor defects like a chip, and some uneven staining, but they were not noticeable so I kept it.I hired my handyman to hang this because it was going into the fireplace brick and I wanted it done properly and safely. He didn’t use the hardware that came with the shelf. He used something heavier duty. I can say that when properly installed, this thing holds a surprising amount of weight.

Came as expected. Looks beautiful and as far as I can tell it’s very sturdy (we made sure to drill right into studs so we didn’t use the anchors). Ours is purely decorative, not a true mantel, but it works perfect for us!

Looks good. The mount it comes with is made of pine and was a little bent, but with enough screws, the mount evened out. I have a speaker bar on it, seems to support it without any issue. I WOULD NOT PUT A TV ON THIS. Cannot hold too much weight. Super easy to assemble. Great cheap solution. After a few months it seems to want to angle down slightly, maybe like 10 degrees or so, but you can’t really tell. It works and the color looks great. The unit itself is hollow. If I were to do this again I’d get a real one that’s not follow and mount it properly.

Quality Light Mantle Shelf
Bought the black mantle shelf and it looks great. It is very light which was a requirement for us and the veining in the wood is visible which I'm very happy about.Can't wait to hang it above my fireplace. Well-made and good quality. Definitely recommend.

This mantle lives up to its good reviews. It arrived carefully boxed. Out of the box it was in perfect condition. Everything needed to install it was in the box.
