I loved it so much because, as a light sleeper, I can't have loud noises during sleep or I wake up. This fans noise levels are just loud enough that it does not keep me awake. On its highest setting, I can hear the fan blades and wind but it isn't to where it keeps me up. I am pleased with it and love the legs that come with it. The fan power is perfect for a small bedroom. The ease of installing it was a sinch and the value is perfect for what I bought. Depending on the state's night air, it can cool down the room or just have the air from outside coming in. I am very satisfied!

This is a very nice window fan, and actually more affordable than other window fans with fewer features. It has large 9" in diameter fans which move a lot of air. It has a very functional digital control panel. You can adjust the fan speeds and the intake and exhaust without having to remove the fan from the window like other brands. You can also make one fan exhaust and the other intake, which is nice. It comes with a remote control which works flawlessly and is really handy. Also, the grills over the fans remove easily and make cleaning a snap - unlike other makes of window fans that end up getting grossly dirty after awhile - especially if you live in a city. It comes in nice packaging with all the features printed on the package, with photos. It would make a well-appreciated gift.

This simple, inexpensive window fan works! Pulling in cool air from outside, without leaving the window fully open, allows me to sleep securely. I opted for the simple Hi/Lo/Off manual control (switch) model, as I have this connected to a Bluetooth enabled power outlet and wall switch. Have used this (summer months only) since 2023 and it is still running like new in 2025. I have this mounted vertically which is another plus.CONS: (Manual Control Model)-No switch for exhaust mode, the whole unit must be removed and reversed in the window. However, the unit IS very lightweight.-No ON/OFF Timer mode.-No Temp Set control mode.-Privacy, anyone outside can see inside through the fan.

update- Don't waste your money on the slightly cheaper options, the 9" Digital Control w/ Remote is the one to get. I've had this fan for months and run it day and night. It is excellent. This is a very well-thought-out fan for a bedroom. The only negative is it expands only on one side and doesn't stay in place well. I increased my rating to five stars.------------------------This is my Initial impression after buying and returning a few fans on Bolo.First some general fan comments.I've used a fan instead of AC in the bedroom for 30+ years.The quality of fans has gone way down. Previous brands I used that lasted 10 years do not last more than two or come defective. Don't trust old reviews, fans look the same but are not. Common problems are rattling or motor buzzing, which makes it hard to sleep or fans stop working in a year or two. The most common problem with a new fan is the blade being out of balance. If the blade wobbles even slightly the fan will start making noise after several weeks, often after the return window closes.This Fan:A nice design. It is pleasant sounding on the lowest setting. The volume of air is good, about what I'm used to. I generally don't use the remote but this one is nice and mutes the beeping sounds. The two lights are not overly bright and are only on for a few seconds when the fan is turned on or the settings are changed.Negatives: I have it mounted sideways and the expandable sides do not support weight well. Fortunately, I only had to expand the top to make it fit. The fan bottom is too wide to fit in the side groove of the window, so I had to use a metal bracket from a previous fan to make it secure.It would be nice if I could purchase a cover and a screen.I like this fan so far. I will see how long it lasts then update the review.

Decent fan, though noisier than an older model of this same brand. However, the side extenders are a JOKE. Maybe they're okay for a double hung window, but for a slider, they absolutely are useless. They literally unlock and collapse on their own before you even try to set it in the window. If you are getting this fan to sit vertically, DO NOT get this fan. Thankfully we're just using this as an occasional second fan during 85+ days, and I can modify it with some foam board insulation.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Although it does look cheap (many comments/reviews about the looks) I've been a Holmes fan buyer for many years. What nobody is talking about is that the motor on this fan is much stronger. I use this in my kitchen window and was amazed at the power. It fits my needs perfectly. And btw, the Bionaire Window Fan, which I have in my bedroom (purchased here on Bolo) is a little bit fancier. Bionaire is made by Holmes. Holmes bought Sunbeam, Bionaire. The Rival Company is an American manufacturer of small appliances that produces products under the Bionaire, Crock-Pot, Fasco, Patton, Pollenex, Rival, Simer, and White Mountain brands. This is NOW under the Holmes Company.

Used this fan all summer and it honestly made a huge difference. I set it up in my bedroom window and it pulled hot air out fast — within minutes, the room felt noticeably cooler. The reversible airflow is the real win here: one button switches it from exhaust to intake, so I could bring in cooler evening air without moving the unit.The digital controls are easy to use, and the remote’s a nice touch when I didn’t feel like getting up. It’s quiet enough to sleep with, and the extender panels helped it fit snugly in a wider window.If your room gets stuffy or overheated, this fan handles it. Simple setup, solid airflow, and it actually does what it claims.

It works well
I'm a very hot person, so fans are important to me. This window fan works well. The air flow on high is good for this type and size of fan, and I'm perfectly happy with it. The noise level is the same as any other fan like this... actually, the low setting is very quiet IMO.Is this my dream fan? No. Ideally, I would like it if it had a bug screen for that price. I would also prefer it to be mechanical instead of digital, because with digital, I can turn ot off using alexa voice commands, but not on, since it resets to off when the power is cut. So that is a bit of a bummer - i was dumb and didn't think if that when i ordered. Also, I agree that the thermostat feature is useless. There is seriously no point to it. Luckily, this fan works fine just using the high and low settings. I will never use the thermostat settings. Finally, the light that stays on when you use it is bright, which could bug people.

envío rápido, aunque la caja interior venía maltratada y mal sellada, lo que me hace pensar que el artículo era una devolución.Al final el ventilador no funcionó para lo que lo necesitaba (la ventana de la cocina) pues sólo tenía una dirección de flujo de aire y era hacia el lado de los controles de funcionamiento del mismo, que al no poder instalarlos hacia afuera (por lo impráctico que sería esto), decidí regresarlo.
