My occlusal guard had become quite yellowed even though I have an ultrasonic pod that I use daily. I tried recommended alternating soaks with white vinegar and peroxide, which was of some help. But the lingering smell of vinegar is rather off-putting. After a few days of use of these tablets (alongside my ultrasonic cleaning and an occasional brushing), my night guard is noticeably less yellow. It's not the beautifully clear device it was when I first received it, but it is better. I hope it will continue to improve over time, though I don't anticipate it ever looking new again. When I eventually have to replace it, I'll start with these tablets from Day One. I did not really have high expectations, but am happily surprised.

Some of the tablets in my box appear to be defective. I opened a tablet and put it in water and the tablet didn’t fizz. I picked it out and threw it away. Tried another tablet with the same result. I found that a couple of tablets per card were this way. Also if the tablets didn’t fizz they were sticky and the paper appeared cut short exposing them to the air. I’m going to buy another brand next time.
