The love for this item was VERY SHORT-LIVED! The motor just blew out today and I bought it April. I used it daily to blend my dog’s food and while it did it was pretty good. The cord in the way was a PITA but I worked around it. Having to hold the button the whole time sucked but again I worked with it. And now it’s dead, WTH man?! Siskel &Ebert give it 2 👎🏼!!! Ughhhhhh 😤

Remember the one with the German-sounding name we all fell in love with about 18 months ago. Th one wit the little plastic part on the attachment that broke. Well this one replaces it. This has the same weight & balance, the blade guard doesn't have the cut-outs so you don't have to clean the entire kitchen after every use, same two buttons, speed adjustment on top, all stainless, etc. Most important, the head & wand attach with a more positive feel. The way the tiny shaft fits into the head/motor is much more robust. Great replacement
