I loosely placed all the bolts before tighten them which allowed me to align the holes properly and then tighten them as much as possible. When i installed the legs I really cranked the nut and bolt to make sure they were tight.It is sturdy and I am excited to put it in my coop to help make my life a bit easier.

This is well constructed, easy to assemble and sturdy. The only drawback is the narrowness of each nesting compartment--but I researched many other brands and models and they were all the same. I have very large girls (Black Star chickens) and they didn't want to use it at first because of how narrow each compartment is, but after a few weeks some of them have started to use it. I am hopeful that the others will follow suit. You can't remove the dividers between each compartment because the bottom of each compartment is individually attached to the dividers. If I had metalworking tools I would have cut an opening in the dividers, but I don't have the tools. It's heavy metal sheeting. The egg catcher feature works most of the time (sometimes a random egg will fail to roll from where they lay it). The eggs roll into a compartment on the front that you lift to retrieve the eggs. The bottom of each nesting compartment is a removable plastic basket with ventilation holes in it. I bought the unit with the legs so it wouldn't have to be hung on a wall, but it still needs to be secured to a horizontal surface so it doesn't fall over with use. The sloped roof keeps the birds from sitting on top of it.

Assembly easy. Very sturdy in coop. I put a back on as it is freestanding. Waiting for eggs to start rolling!

Ok product. Once together and bolts tightened it is still a bit wobbly. The rubber strip for the sharp metal edge inside the nest box will only cover one set of edges. They should have given 3 times that amount.

We had an issue with chickens (or a turkey) eating eggs so we needed a solution. This took care of that problem. This is more lightweight than I would have liked but it looks great and suits its purpose. It's easy to assemble, however just pulling the top across my floor scratched it up. If you're worried about the finish, lay a towel or blanket down first. I was able to put it together by myself. The size is great and cleans up easy, you can just spray it off and allow to air dry.

Warning. Do not buy. I’ve had these nesting boxes for a while since my hens were purchased as peeps. Now they are laying, I’ve had 2 hens start limping. I thought it was bumblefoot but discovered my hens were getting their feet/ toes/talons whatever you call it stuck in the holes and injuring their feet. I found a hen stuck in the box and had to help her get her toe out of one of the holes. I put shavings in the bottom but their toes still tend to go through the shavings.

Easy to assemble. The covers for the eggs constantly fall off and then the chickens bury them!
