This axe makes up for where the chainsaws fail or can't safely move.

i was looking for a packable hatchet for hunting. i have an axe or two and thought this would be easier to strap to a pack. it is smaller than a full size axe, but its kinda chunky for a hunting pack. it does seem to split wood pretty good tho. didnt come very sharp so had to clean up the edge a bit, but the handle is comfy enough and if it holds up, it will be put to good use when spring camping comes around again.

Product is not exactly as displayed in images. Paint/color (black) is off and it’s evident it was only lightly coated as the brown grain still shows through. The provided sheath is a cheap imitation grade “leather” that I’m sure will not hold up. On top of that they sent me a Brown one instead of the black one that should have come with the my black axe. I hope it performs better than it looks.

It will come in handy when I am in the bush. Nice weight and feels good in my hand. Came with a sharpening stone and hatchet cover. The handle comes stained but I added three coats of spar varnish to dress it up and protect it.

Very nice hatchet. I've used it everyday for a couple months now. Haven't had any issues with the handle like some people reported. I agree it came about as sharp as a plastic spoon but that's the only issue I've had

Nice axe, but sheath should be better?

This was a gift. The axe looks and feels great, and hopefully it performs well. Once we go camping we will get a chance to properly test, but out of box it seems good. However, the protective sheath doesn't fit. I was hoping to find customer support and get a replacement but I couldn't find any. The back strap doesn't reach when put on, and the loop for a person's belt, it'd have to be a skinny belt. I took a star off because of the sheath. If anything comes of the axe, like if it breaks after the first use I will update.

My friend loved it and I was really impressed with the quality of the package and the quality of the axe. It made for a really impressive looking gift! (in the spring of 2024 I paid about $45 CAD in Canada for it)
