It's my essential kitchen tool, very easy to ues , has a big LED display that can be seen even at night, the volume is loud enough not to miss the time, the magnetic pad is strong and stays on the fridge firmly, the color is perfect to match my fridge as well.

I recently started using the BlueSnail Kitchen Timer and it has quickly become an essential tool in my kitchen. All the timers I use have click buttons to select the minutes and seconds; and several also count up as well as time. I was interested in this one because the time was controlled by twisting the substantially sized base to "dial-in" the time.It worked fine, but after using it a while I found that it was just easier for me to click buttons to select minutes and seconds than twist the dial. You really need to pay attention because it's easy to overshoot your target time. On the plus side, it's easier than other types to twist back if you do go past your target.The unit itself is a good size - including the display. The alarm is adequate and the magnetic back grips my fridge well. So, it works fine.It just comes down to personal preference, I think; and yours may be different. But for me, I find the traditional click controls easier to work.

The product looks and feels good. Since I am hard of hearing, I needed a timer that I could hear. This one fits that bill. You twist the dial to the time you want. You can count up and down with this product. I think its a good addition to my kitchen. It's labeled "Rotaty Coundown Timer....should it be Rotary? Negative report though: The instructions are in 5 languages on a piece of paper about 3" by 17". I had to use a large magnifying glass to even decipher letters. How ridiculous is that?

I bought this for my wife to use in the kitchen. It is light weight but very good quality. It feels very smooth when turning the ring. My three years old daughter likes to play it as a toy haha.

I like this kitchen timer as it has more feature and modern look than a traditional twist timer. Lately, I’ve been doing pomodoro study method, and this is great gadget to prevent myself using my phone and getting distracted.

I got this timer to remember to limit my elderly dogs time outside. I usually give her 10 mins at a time so it's convenient that the timer stores that time and I can just press twice to restart it when she goes out the door. My only complaint is the magnet could probably be stronger. I try to turn the dial gently but it still rotates on my fridge and I have to pull it off to straighten it up. It's not scratching my stainless steel fridge though so that's a plus.
Simple and versatile
Im very pleased with this timer. On the surface it's a very simple device but the amount of little extra features are what really put it over the top for me, and those include:Magnetic - I can keep it stuck to the outside of my oven or on my range hood when using the stove. Or just place it on the fridge on silent mode if I need to chill something for a minimum of x minutes.Stopwatch - I didn't even realize when I first unboxed it that it can also count upwards as well. It's not something that you need every day in the kitchen but its great for keeping track of how long it takes to prepare certain things or timing a defrost.Volume - You dont always need or want your timer to sound like an air raid siren when the time is up, sometimes you just need to make sure a minimum amount of time has passed so you can simply turn off the alarm for when time is up.AAA batteries - This might sound like a downside but I much prefer real old school batteries for a device like this. With three AAA batteries and an auto-sleep mode this device will likely stay active for months before needing to replace the batteries. USB rechargeable devices are handy in the kitchen but its nice to not have to worry about recharging everything all the time.Dial controls - I've used many kitchen timers over the years but the fact that you can set precise times all the way down to 5 second intervals by rotating the timer is very handy, especially when your hands are a bit messy and you can't get a good grip on a smaller knob or tiny buttons.All these add up to a really good kitchen timer. 5 stars!

Der Timer sieht gut aus, die Bedienung ist einfach. Der Magnet an der Rückseite ist dann praktisch, wenn man in der Küche Metall hat, wo man ihn befestigen und auch noch gut ablesen kann ... bei einem Einbaukühlschrank ist das z. B. schon nicht mehr möglich und an der Seitenwand der Mikrowelle verrenkt man sich den Hals. Will oder muss man den Timer auf der Arbeitsplatte liegen lassen, ist das Einstellen nicht so bequem, da man den Timer dann nicht gut festhalten kann.Ich hatte bereits verschiedene Digitaltimer, die innerhalb eines Jahres den Geist aufgegeben haben, deswegen fließt dieses Kriterium nicht in meine Bewertung ein.
A simple, quick and easy to use kitchen or productivity timer
This is an elegantly simple design for a timer. They supply 3 AAA batteries with it, so there's no built in battery or USB charging which is a potential weakness for some of us but not hard to deal with if you run rechargeable batteries for such small electronics anyway.Two switches on the back control the light from the display when it's on, and whether the alarm is muted, on or louder. The manual is so small that even with a magnifying glass I couldn't quite work out what the brightness switch does - it's something to do with how it reacts during a timing session. That's frustrating but I can read it dim or not.To set the timer, you just turn the dial, fast turns increment minutes, up to 99, and slower turns gets it down to seconds if you need. The small dot at the bottom starts and stops the countdown. But it can also start a timer if it's set to zero so you could use it as a stopwatch if that's helpful.There's reasonably strong magnets on the back, more than enough area to hold it to a metal case, or a fridge but they're no neodymium.Overall it's very well done, and really easy to operate. If you have somewhere to place it such as a pegboard it'd make a good desk timer as well as a kitchen timer. It's also going to be easy to grab from a fridge or similar having set it running to take into the living room with you.I only docked a star because the font on the manual is so small I can't properly read it even with a really good magnifying glass I have which is unhelpful.

Timer ben realizzato, robusta costruzione, in confezione oltre al manualetto di istruzioni si trovano anche le tre batterie ministilo AA ,ovviamente non ricaricabili data l'alta autonomia del timer. Luminosità e intensità del suono son regolabili. Posteriormente due magneti consentono di incollarlo al frigo o ovunque ci sia ferro/acciaio.-La regolazione dell'orario avviene semplicemente ruotando l'anello perimetrale, il tempo sale e scende in maniera proporzionale. Quando avete impostato i minuti e i secondi necessari, è sufficiente cliccare sul display ed il timer si avvia. Per resettare l'operazione, basta tenere premuto il display per pochi secondi. E' molto intuitivo, a prova di anziani, che sono quelli che più incontrano difficoltà con questi apparecchi.-Acquisto sicuramente consigliato, ottimo per la cucina, sebbene il prezzo di una ventina di euro possa apparire leggermente eccessivo.
