I bought many urns in the past and this the 2st one that actually brings the water to a full blown boil.Exactly how I like my coffeeThe only downside is that you have to remember to keep an eye and turn down the temperature after it boils so that the water does not boil away. The urn does not seem to have an automatic shut-off function if there is no water.Otherwise, a great urn and highly recommended.

This coffee maker was purchased for weekly use for crowds. It is efficient and does its job well. It was purchased primarily because it is stainless steel with a 16-L capacity plus a temperature control dial. It replaced one of the old coffee makers from the past. The basket is stainless steel as well, which was one major deciding factor in purchasing this coffee maker. There have been no issues with leaks or drips. I have not utilized customer service for the product and hope I don’t have to. The coffee maker is attractive, easy to clean, and lightweight for its size. If another coffee maker is needed, Nalison will be the first place I will search.

I purchased the Nalison Coffee Urn for workplace events, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our tasting room. We have been using it for making hot spiced cider and hot buttered rum. The heat up time is quite fast, the large lid makes it easy to make the recipe right in the kettle and for different drinks, the temperature adjustment feature is incredibly handy. The 12L capacity is ideal for gatherings, and its straightforward design makes it easy for anyone to use.The only things that are slightly negative I'd say is the digital temperature gauge is a little hard to read as it can be faint (overall great addition though, makes me actually believe the temp over just a knob with writing) and the spigot is a bit high in the container so there's a gap of around 2" from the bottle on the urn to the spigot making the excess not reachable for the last tidbits in the urn. Although this may be nice or intentional for keeping coffee grounds out of the customers drink.Overall, great product!

It seems the lid does not actually lock. It just sits on top and is was very loose. The water took over an hour to heat and when the coffee began percolating it overflowed. The water was below the level and the coffee was in the coffee maker. Not a good experience.
