One of my health care clients use this and another object and he told me to use it so I did. I do it 5 times a day for 5 minutes every day. I noticed a difference and when I went for my physical, my doctor noticed a difference. Good product but won’t make you a marathon runner.

I’ve used this for a week or so but I see no difference so far. It doesn’t seem to bring up any phlegm but I know it’s in there.I would say it’s probably good exercise if for your lungs if nothing else.

I had part of my right lung removed years ago due to a tumor. Since that time I seem to get short of breath easily so I thought I would give this device a try. I just received it so I haven't had time to see if it will really make a difference but the concept seemed sound. The first thing I did was to wash it with antibacterial dish soap and then clean it with alcohol. The instructions tell you to clean it before and after use. The whole thing is a hard plastic except for one of the mouthpieces which is rubbery like a snorkel mouthpiece.There are adjustments to determine the force needed for both inhalation and exhalation. I found the exhalation to be fairly easy so I set this to the highest level. The inhalation is much more difficult. At the highest level I could just barely inhale. I'm not sure if that is how it was designed but that's my impression. The instructions tell you to use it 2 - 3 times a day for 5 - 10 minutes. I intend to give it a try and see if I notice a difference over time.

My mother has COPD and she needs to work on improving her breathing capacity more, which is where this device comes in. Rather than the typical bulky unit the doctors give you she can use this. It is adjustable to whatever level of breathing pressure you would like which makes it nice and easy to use. It is small enough that she can take it with her anywhere she goes. She has been using it for a couple of weeks now and she has said that she feels it is working and that she can breathe better. There are two different mouthpieces but she prefers the nozzle type.
