This junction box is a huge disappointment. First of all, it’s not waterproof at all—water easily gets in through the seams and cable entries. The material feels cheap and brittle, definitely not something that can handle outdoor use. The mounting holes didn’t line up, and I had to drill new ones myself. Total waste of money.

Use these on our Foscam security camera that's outside in view of rain and this keeps all the junctions dry and secured.Would definitely recommend.

I purchased a few cameras that had a power and Ethernet cable connector attached by about a foot of cable.This all fit nicely in a circle inside this housing.It includes the weatherproof rubber grommets for cable entry.I'll use these for every camera I install now.
