This thing is wonderful in terms of speed (definitely meets the speeds of the advertised Thunderbolt spec), quality (doesn't feel like it'll fall apart or break internally if bent, although it is a bit tough), and it's a reasonable length for most use cases.It's definitely expensive, but if you want a future-proof cable that'll handle whatever you need to use it for, this will almost certainly work for any use case. It works for high speed data transfer, display even at high refresh rates (120Hz tested) and I haven't had any issues with slowdowns or bottlenecks so far.

It delivers seriously impressive speed and charging capabilities in a compact 1-meter package. Also appreciated its 240W charging capacity which comfortably powers all the power-hungry devices that I have at my home. It seamlessly works with most of my equipment. My only minor gripe is the relatively short length since sometimes an extra foot or two would come in handy.

I use this cable to transfer very large files (300-500+page documents per file with graphics, photos and movies) to and from my Macbook Air to an external hard drive, as well as to backup my computer onto an additional external hard drive. I am little paranoid as I have lost files before, so I always make extra backups. This cable does it very quickly! It is fast! I am extremely happy with this cable as it is very sturdy and does not tangle. All my files are transferred (depending on the size) on average, in about 5-10 seconds at most. Thunderbolt is the way to go.
