I am a first time chicken momma and they should design all feeders and waters to have legs because as chicks go through their stages they are so messy. Kicking bedding all over in the water and food. I wish the legs went higher to a third rising option but as I said I am a first time chicken mom. To clean the water I just take to the toilet and shake the bedding out, rinse in the sink and refill so pretty simple. Reassembling is literally a no brainer the top of the water not only prevents roosting where chicks will perch and poop on the top of containers but helps in twisting upside down with base for refill.

While I do like these feed and water dish the feet on the bottom keep collapsing and tipping over. Best not to use them. Holds enough food for my chicks for several days. Just check and refill as needed. I do like that I can fill the feeder from the top, put the lid on and it's good to go.

I purchased this for my ducklings since they kept getting bedding in their water.It functions really well, but be sure to secure the legs properly; if they aren't locked in, one of the legs might give way and cause all the water to spill out.I also put a plant coaster underneath to catch any dribbled water which helped a lot.

All water bases were bent. One had to be returned. Other than the bases being bent, I really like these for my chicks. The price is great, I've purchased over 10 total. I find having the ability to raise the feeders as they grow beneficial, however some chicks will still stand on it to eat. It hold enough feed to last a few days, depending on the amount of chicks in your brooder. I still change the water daily until they reach the top height, and then it will last 2 to 3 days depending on chick size and amount of chicks. We're currently using this on chicks that have just hatched, week old, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and 5 weeks old.

This is soooooo much better than the ones you buy at tractor supply. They put some good thought into making this. My chick isn't able to fly on top of the food or water containers anymore and poop all over it. Also the food container holes are spread out so much more to give the chicks plenty of room and love you can add food from the top!! The ones from other stores you have to twist to add food and that became challenging with plenty of good food still on the bottom your having to quickly flip the bottle to the bottom and hopefully have it matched up good to twist it back on. Also waaaay more room for this water container as well. BRAVO!!!!

Love these! Helps keep the water and feed free of pine chips for the first few weeks. I do wish there was a third height level though, once the chicks are about a month old they're once again able to kick shavings into the dishes 😅 I also have one chick who likes to roost on the water container haha. 🤦♀️

These are a must-have for raising chicks. Really sturdy quality, top load for the feeder, adjustable legs. I love being able to hang them as the chicks get older. Great product.

I like that both containers are self-contained and covered - no poop in food or water. I also like the adjustable height options which helps decrease the amount of bedding the chicks fling into the food and water. My only issue is with the waterer - chicks are kept under heat lamps for warmth and because of this the water also warms very rapidly which then often leads to it turning sour, smelly and the waterer quickly develops mildew even after just a few hours. I change out the water and clean the waterer with soap multiple times a day - which is not always convenient.

To me, they are not worth the price I paid for them, therefore I will not buy more of these. The metal handle is very flimsy, and will most likely fall off.
