Fine warm jacket. I was happy with this as a replacement for an older down jacket. I'd say it's a little heavy for backpacking. But for a warm puffy jacket for winer at the resort or in town it's an absolute beauty.

I got this as a lighter version of a Fjallraven jacket I really like, because it will pack better for travel to Argentina. Got the ugliest color - forest green - it is a weird version of olive but was available for $125 and is suitable for safari in Africa. Technically, it is very good. Perfect for 45F. I’d go to 30F with a good wool sweater underneath. Pretty good wind resistance. Size-wise I wear L and this L is a perfect fit, not baggy and not tight. Only 2 pockets is in part why it fits well and is light. Love the neck portion, it pulls the hood up a bit so it protects really well without choking. Overall very pleased.

Color is as represented, and fit is good. Comfortable and warm without being heavy. Hood is a winner. It sets out in front enough to keep rain off your face. Fits over beanie or ball cap well. I would recommend.

I've had maybe half a dozen "puffer" jackets over the years, of varying quality purchased at different price points. Some of those jackets saw hard use hiking through dense woods with plenty of low-hanging branches, yet I never had a rip in any of those jackets. My hiking days are through—I wore this jacket to the doctor's office, to friends' houses for visits, shopping, etc. Despite the light use, it developed a rip in the back through which the stuffing is visibly leaking in just a matter of months. I recommend against spending money with North Face.

A pesar de no ser muy grueso abriga muy bien, estoy hablando desde Salamanca donde hace bastante frío. Repele muy buen el agua y es ligero. Los logos no don bordados, opción que sería mejor.
