It grinds freely and has just the right amount of grinding settings. It is pleasant to the eyes and I like the carrying caddy. They do have some weight to them but they are easy to handle.

10/10 love the hexclad products. First got an entire set and more at Costco during a demo and purchased the full size grinders. After loving the entire line thus far a month later I wanted the tabletop grinders. Works just as well as the full size ones. The only “con” I can come up with and QUICKLY came up with a solution is when using it you will end up with salt or pepper in the holder. My simple solution is to grind and once done tap a few times on the side to simply get any extra out of the bottom. Or just clean the holder once and awhile. Regardless love the product too much to let that hold it back! Quality you can feel and enjoy.

Nice grinders. Super solid, fairly smooth, great adjustabiity. I had the large grinders and had to go for these too. Good purchase.

We are totally displaced with this product. If we could give it a zero we would. Our salt and pepper shakers leak either salt or pepper all the time. The settings do not work well. It could be a possibility that they were broken in the beginning. They look good but they have never worked well from the beginning and they appear to be getting worse. That why we are giving a late review. We purchased them in Feb 2025. We were disappointed from the beginning but are now totally upset with the product. They are definitely not worth the price. It would be great if the company would reach out to us.

Heavy duty and good quality just not for me. I wanted these for a long time and really wanted to love them BUT ultimately I ended up returning them and here’s why. You need two hands to use which isn’t always realistic when cooking and they make a bit of a mess on the counter since the salt/pepper comes from the bottom. They also “lock” into the base so it’s kind of a pain when you just want to pick up quickly and use. It just seemed like more of a hassle and inconvenience to do a simple task like using salt and pepper

These table salt and pepper grinders really grind. Unlike the others I bought in the past, these work wonderfully. You can adjust and grind to your specifications. They are heavy but well made.
2.0 out of 5 stars Do NOT Purchase The Small Ones With Carry Holder
I would NOT buy the small grinders, unless you love constantly cleaning up salt and pepper flakes on your counters. These grinders are great quality, and look phenomenal, however, the small grinders with the included carry holder are very poorly designed. Every time you lift the grinder from the holder, pepper/salt flakes drop out and get everywhere. I have tried everything to fix this to no avail. I attempted a return of the item, and was denied.

Nice product that is well made. Nice size for the dining room table. A bit messy as it is a tight fit with the base. A little bit hard to grind. Hopefully will get easier after breaking in
