I didn't need a gaming machine. I wasn't interested in suped-up graphics that would drive the cost of the machine up. I just needed solid memory and CPU power. This one delivers. It also has a touch screen that works VERY well. Not for hard core gamers as it lacks hard-core graphics processing. I use it for running logging software and SDR software for my Flex 6400 amateur radio. Does the job with ease and class, and a price we can all appreciate.

I purchased this refurbished laptop on **March 6, 2025**, advertised as being in "new" condition. The device arrived looking pristine, leading me to believe it was reliable. However, it malfunctioned shortly after, and I discovered the manufacturer’s warranty had **expired on January 28, 2025** **over a month BEFORE I bought it**.

This is an average laptop running Windows 11 and the system works well. I repeat, THIS IS A LAPTOP, so you are supposed to be able to open and close it, take it with you, etc., often so it should not come apart with normal use. However, I have had to send it for repairs twice because the hinges that hold the screen/top on, keep breaking and pulling away from the base computer. This in turn causes the screen to jump, shudder, have a mind of its own, etc. I don't drop it, mishandle it, or let the kids touch it so it should hold up better. The battery gets hot quickly and doesn't cool down well even on a cooler. I've had other laptops over the years and never had one made this way.
