This is a wonderful lip stain for me. It is hydrating, creamy and easy to apply. I really like the subtle color that seems to go with everything I wear. Once it has set after a couple of minutes, I put on a little lip gloss and go. It's pretty long lasting, although you might want to reapply after eating or drinking. During the course of the day it will gradually fade to a soft muted color, but I have no problems with that at all. I really like the very faint vanilla cupcake fragrance it has when first applied. It doesn't last long, so that's not a concern. I tried the color Rose Rising and plan on trying a couple more. It has become my go-to stain!

I got it in Bitten Berry, I do enjoy the color. It feels a bit less drying than other long-wear items I've tried, but I wouldn't call it hydrating. It also doesn't really stain, as I was hoping it would. It comes off while eating and drinking and I've reapplied multiple times just during my work day at a desk. I suppose there's a slight tint that's left behind, but not nearly as bold as I'd like. The only nice thing is that it comes off evenly, I notice when I wear other long-wear or darker lipsticks they tend to leave a lip outline while the center wears off so I have to be mindful of wiping my entire mouth so I'm not accused of misappropriation during my meal, whereas this stain doesn't do that even though it's a nice rich dark color to begin with.

Mauve Mentality is the perfect my-lips-but-better shade. The gloss is nice and it leaves a decent stain. It has a very faint scent that smelled very familiar to me; it took me a while to place it, but it's very reminiscent of the old vanilla sugar cookie scent from Lip Smackers! A pleasant surprise of deja vu lol

This is supposed to be a stain type lip color product. It did not leave a stain that lasted much longer than any regular lipstick or gloss. It is a pretty color and is moisturizing as long as it is on your lips put soon wears off and has to be re-applied every 30 to 40 minutes. It may last longer on some people...I can't judge for anyone other than myself, but his has been my experience. It was not what I was hoping for.

My color palette is a deep autumn. I was looking for something to compliment my features and rose rising was perfect. I love how long this lasts and you can make it as bold or as subtle you would like depending on how long and how many layers you apply. You can see in my photos how it looks once first applied and then once it wears off. Pretty for both
