it’s hard candy that delivers tasty sugar. For a quick boost. The wrapping prevents it melting and bleeding into your coat or pocket. I am a repeat buyer of this. I personally buy the 5 pound packet. Although the 2 pound packet is a good buy too.

Joining a new office comes with it an immense pressure to conform to the culture and prove to everyone you were not a mistake (in hiring-not in life). So naturally... when I single handedly ate most of my coworkers 1,000 jolly ranchers I knew I was deep in it. Would I go down as the jolly rancher pig? the feral food fiend of the office? Would there be whispers and coworkers hiding their best snacks from the lumbering candy sucking nightmare I had become?Could I surreptitiously replace the bag and no one would be the wiser? I figured I could.So I bought this two pound, 150 count bag of jolly ranchers. The bag weighed 2.1 lbs with packaging so that all checks out. They arrived in two days and were packaged in a bubble wrap shipping bag. I used my candy scarfing claws to expertly shred the bag open. BUT, what is this?? it is a plain sandwich baggy type bag with a barcode sticker that says "jolly Rancher, bulk" in size three and a half font. Being raised in the "in your face" world of shameless capitalistic advertising, I knew something was afoot. Carefully, I inspected the candy bag and viewed the individual morsels. The logo on the wrapper was different than the ones occupying the mostly empty scene of my crime.. the font - different, the colors different. Were these the Halloween drugs my parents warned me about.So naturally I ate one. Seemed fine. I got away with it too if that matters.It was strange how they were packaged and there were differences in the wrapper. they seemed ok when I ate them so no complaints there. Plus there was almost exactly two pounds. Four stars for the bizarre off brand look.
