I used to only run in ASICS so I thought I'd give these a try and bought my normal size. The shoes seem very well built and supportive. I tried wearing them around the house before running in them and seemed to fit well, but running in them gave me terrible blisters. I tried "breaking them in" but it only got worse. I had to switch back to Saucony (today's run felt great!). If you are new to the Kayano, I'd caution buying these online. Go to a local running store to ensure the correct fit so you don't make an expensive mistake.

I bought the Asics Kanayo shoes to have in rotation with Novablast 5. I have a left foot over pronation issue and the Kayanos definitely stop the pronation issues. They are firmer and more controlled than the novablasts and a little slower but all around a very nice alternative and I will probably use them for longer runs like half marathons. Size 10 fit true.
