Currently use this mic for my YouTube videos. Setup was easy, the included mic arm (while being a budget one isn’t the best) for a $50-$60 mic is more than tolerable until you can upgrade. Sound is amazing (again for this being a budget mic) and the ability to upgrade to an amp and XLR setup is great for any beginner in the YouTube/streaming/podcast world to have some path to more of a pro level sound. Build quality on the mic itself is quite nice, and the RGB is cool if that’s what you’re into.

I purchased the Maono PD200X S in January 2025 to upgrade my streaming setup, and I’ve been incredibly impressed. The sound quality is phenomenal, and the mic integrated seamlessly with my Elgato StreamDeck+ XLR dock and Wavelink software. Setup was quick and effortless — truly plug and play.A few months in, I began experiencing some unexpected issues: distortion, clipping, and a humming noise. I reached out to Maono support, and they were absolutely outstanding. After a quick validation process, they confirmed it was a hardware issue and shipped me a replacement unit immediately. Just two days later, I was back up and running — and once again blown away by the quality.Maono’s customer service was fast, professional, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to find such great support these days.Whether you’re a streamer, podcaster, or audio enthusiast, I 100% recommend the PD200X S and the Maono brand. Great product, even better company.

I absolutely love my Maono PD200X. This microphone is a huge step up compared to my headset microphone especially for anyone looking to get into the XLR game without completely emptying their wallet. The price point is simply fantastic for a microphone that offers both USB and XLR connectivity, making it an incredibly versatile tool for streamers, podcasters, and musicians alike. It's an investment that punches well above its weight class, delivering a sound quality that rivals much more expensive microphones on the market.Beyond the incredible value, I have to give a huge shout-out to Maono's customer support. I broke a part on the mic arm and they sent me a replacement without hesitation. You get a professional-quality microphone at a budget-friendly price, backed by a company that genuinely cares about its customers.

It's been a great microphone for the price, for about a year. I was definitely happy with it! But a piece of the plastic broke today and it's just hanging on for dear life. The microphone part still works, but can't adjust it without fear of it snapping completely. Might try to glue it to get some more life out of it...

After doing plenty of research on the variety of dynamic xlr microphones, I kept coming back to the Maono PD200X. Not only is the price point very competitive, but it has the option for USB, and XLR. My first few months of using this mic was through USB, and was told over and over by other gamers I have met that my voice was coming through so clear, and they would ask how that was so. Most people expected me to say it was a $400 mic, but when I told them it was not even 1/6th the price they couldn’t believe me. The mic and app were so easy to setup right out of the box, and it comes with a boom arm that clamps to your desk to free up space. As a new streamer, every inch of desk space matters so this was a plus for me. Since, I have swapped from USB to XLR as my new setup required it for my dual pc setup. And to add, the mic has some rgb, which lets be honest, is always a plus if your on camera. It has a convenient knob that’s easy to access for adjusting your volume and mute with a single press, and it turns red when your muted, so no second guessing, and green when your mic is active. I don’t usually leave reviews for products but I’ve had this mic for over a year now with daily use and have yet to encounter any issues, and still get compliments on the sound quality from both gamers, streamers, and viewers. If your looking to ditch the headset mic, and get a real mic that competes with the high end, but it priced on the lower end side, this is the mic for you.

For this price range, you can’t beat this deal. One of the best bang for your buck microphones ever made. It has his its own software and it sounds great after tuning it on USB now imagine on XLR. and it looks great with RGB easy to connect and just the right size.

The media could not be loaded. If you can’t tell from the other reviews it is an AMAZING product, the mic quality is really good and it really gets you a lot of compliments, it has an app where you can customise some things but it isn’t something from another world and the only downside is the arm, it is hollow and really weak and I have no doubt that in the future it is going to give me some troubles, that is the reason why when I am not using the mic then I leave it resting on my desk so the arm does not stress that much. But taking in consideration the price and the quality of the mic i 100% recommend buying it and considering the arm as a gift, and if in the future if the arm breaks or something like that just replace it or ask for guaranty (I read in other reviews that it is really good)
Helpful customer support - even fixed broken firmware issue
Apart from the awesome audio quality Maono has great customer support, Had a software issue which rendered my mic not connecting to my laptop but when I reached out to the customer service team they were very helpful responding within 12hrs and provided me with the software that solved the issue in 1click and my mic started working perfectly fine after that.Highly recommended
Picks up sound from far away
Ima be honest this was amazing nothing went wrong the boom arm was really good and easy to put onto and the mic was nice and clear the only problem was that it doesn't remove audio like if your very far from the mic they can still hear you which isn't really my type but tbh this was amazing nothing happend by now and it's perfect

Good mic at a nice price.
I am pleasantly surprised at how good this mic kit is, especially for the very reasonable price. I've had very expensive mics before, and this one does almost as good a job, but at a fraction of the price. Definitely a good deal.

Good mic at a nice price.
