first, know that this cable requires it's own power source that is not provided. surprise! you'll need a short USB-A to USB-C cable to use the TV's USB-A port (most have these days). so go ahead and add that cable to your cart. second, i did a side by side using my switch dock (I have OLED version), and there is a significant decline in quality. I would only use this for travel. if you are trying to avoid getting a dock with this, sorry get a dock. The dock is glorious compared to the cable, which makes no sense really, but yeah.

Been using this with my switch and it's been working as advertised!Okay quality and decent length, it's not an eye sore and it works perfectly with my switch.Never had any issues with performance so far so I'm optimistic that this will last!
Good product from good seller
I bought this mainly to cross-test my Nintendo Switch, which wasn’t displaying over HDMI. Turned out the console was at fault — this adapter worked perfectly with other devices I tested. Works Great with My Nintendo Switch
This cable does exactly what I needed. I’m using it with my Nintendo Switch and it handles TV dock mode without any issues. Video output is clean, charging is fast with up to 100W, and the build quality feels solid. The red and blue design is a nice touch. Just keep in mind it’s not HDMI, only works from USB-C to DisplayPort, and won’t work with the Switch 2 or Switch Lite. Also, to keep your Nintendo Switch charged during gameplay, you’ll need to use your own USB-C cable and wall charger since they are not included. For devices with DP Alt or Thunderbolt support, it’s a great pick.
