I absolutely loved this book. As someone who’s gone threw something similar to this collection it was very to relate to what I was reading.

Lovely set of poems and there were definitely a few tears. It is like the author lived my life, sadly. I purchased to support the author after having ran into a few poem excerpts from TikTok. I am glad I have this as it is really cathartic at times to read through. Kudos!

Julia Reesor has a beautiful and vulnerable narrative. Her story is unique, but also so relatable. Her thoughts and emotions are felt, and they are heard. She gives a voice to those that may have or may be struggling with overcoming trauma and grief and reminds us that it’s not a simple path, but a long self exploration to healing. Highly recommend. I am enjoying this book so far. I have some passages I like a lot, and some I feel I’d describe as immature. It’s lacking in some way.I bought this as a gift for my sister on the anniversary of our mom’s death.I would consider this a sort of book of affirmation. Partially because there are no page numbers? Yikes. But it is cute. Would come back to it and flit through the pages consistently. Thank you for sharing.

So many poems that help the heart heal I could read it over and over again and never get tired of it...my only complaint is is my meta fish leaked on it.

Beautifully written, childhood trauma, love, grief & healing.
This book is heartbreaking but yet so touching
I have finished reading it and for me most of my childhood memories came back so a TW would have been nice. But other than that i loved every poem and it felt like i was reading how my childhood and teenage years were, it broke my heart to feel how deep my wounds are and yet it also touched me by how those bad things can be replaced with good things and love.
