(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I use a Rain CD to help in falling asleep - A Day on Cape Cod (Summer Rain).Unfortunately, my existing CD Player gave up the ghost.I then purchased one of those Digital Nature sound generators.But the digital rain sound wasn't very realistic and sounded more like static.While perusing Bolo, I came across Roadom's Desktop CD Player.While I didn't hold out much hope that I would be satisfied with this player, theprice was right and it even included a remote, so I took the leap.I was very pleasantly surprised how much clear/detailed sound this compact unit produced.I currently only use it for the CD option, but all the other Modes work very well also.The unit will auto-stop after the CD has completed, but if desired, you can use the Repeat option for continuous play.During the night I will get up to use the bathroom and when coming back to bed all I need to do is hit the power button on the remote (top left corner), and the unit plays for another hour of soothing rain helping me fall back asleep.My only minor gripe is the unit plays a quick 3-tone xylophone when starting up.I emailed Raodom, to see if I could silence this start-up tone.They got back to me right away and explained it was a default feature built into the original design and as such could not be overridden.But they did offer me a credit for this minor inconvenience.Very good customer service.I'm loving and dreaming with this unit.

Wow! I am really impressed with this little CD player! The sound quality and volume are great, and I am not missing my old stereo at all. It is very easy to use. I just plug it in and pop in a CD. I can take it all over the house easily. The bottom is only about 3" x 7", so it doesn't take up much space at all. I haven't used the remote (with batteries) that comes with it yet, but that's a nice feature too. The only downside is that it only holds one cd at a time. I am so happy that I got this!

It has a nice sound.The lid for cd doesn’t open all the way so to get cd out is difficult but otherwise very nice.

Finally! A CD player that is compact, simple to use with good sound quality and range. After searching for months to find a way for my mom who resides in Assisted Living to listen to music again, this was the answer.

I work from home and like to listen to my CDs while I'm working. I was worried these speakers were going to be too weak or the device too flimsy, but I am really happy with this. Works great, doesn't take a lot of space. Sound is good! Maybe not for a house party lol, but for listening to music in a room, great buy!

This compact cd player has it all. Its loud and plays cds without issue sound quality is good remote works, more than what I expected for the price. Worth the money for sure.

Play and sound are good. However, it would not connect to my blue tooth head phones.

No instructions. Received and obviously it had previously been sold. Disappointing. Unable to determine how to connect through Bluetooth to remote speaker due to no instructions. Update: The company made it right. They replaced the unit with a new one that had instructions and had not been previously sold. I appreciate their customer service very much.
