I have good dexterity with these gloves on, they are not restricting at all. They can definitely take the heat. I have used them on wildfires and have never had an issue with feeling heat through the gloves. They are worth the money. If you have been on the fence about buying them, you need to go ahead and take the leap. You won't be disappointed.

Inexpensive gloves that are high quality. Used these on a few wild land fires and they have held up nicely.

Purchased gloves for fire academy, they ripped in the thumb stitching within 3 months of use. Not a practical option if you are using them as intended. Also no warranty available to replace them.

Did good for a little while was happy. Has only been a month and I am by no means a full time fire fighter merely volunteer used for some line cutting training and for Stacking wood, im think they were defective because snitch is falling apart everywhere on both gloves and they stain pretty easily, they are nice but they will be non safety compliant within a week on the job. If your sissy when you work you may get a full 3 week fire shift out of them but after that you'll need a new pair. No way to contact for customer support, gloves stain and lose their grip easily and to top it off my Pulaski cut right through the leather on the finger tip so it's pretty thin overall good but could be better, im thinking they gotta be defective since I wouldnt rate my pair of these for professonial wildland use

I use these glove for my forge and they work really well in keeping my hands protected. I’ve had molten steel pour over them and they did not melt and my hands did not burn (but it was getting hot in that glove!)Functional these gloves are great and they are very comfortable and durable. However I feel they are just a bit bulky than needed. I have other racing gloves for use with my fire suit, and other forge gloves that are not as bulky.All in all these are great, maybe pick a smaller size for your hands than advertised.

I am a volunteer firefighter, and so for the benefit of any other firefighters who may want to consider purchasing these gloves I am writing the first review here.These gloves fit very well, better on me than some other XL gloves (I sometimes have to wear XXL). So these are true to size. The materials appear to be of quality and as you will see in my photos, they are marked as certified for Wildland firefighting meeting NFPA 1977 code. They have the required manufacturing date clearly marked on the tag, and as of the date of this review, which is the day I received them, they were manufactured only 3 months ago.Just in case there in any confusion, these gloves are NOT for structural or proximity firefighting. They are not rated to be or meant to be compliant with NFPA 1971. These are ONLY for wildland firefighting.Back to the materials, these are made of leather which appears to be thick and of good quality. There is a flame resistant modacrylic liner which looks and feels to be of good quality. There is no loose stitching or other indicators of poor construction. And so, as far as I am able to tell, these are quality gloves that satisfy the requirements and are comfortable as well.I will put these gloves into service and if I have any issues with them I will certainly update this review. But for the time being I am happy with these gloves.

The seem thick. However inside of the middle fingers rub on my knuckles, rubbed them raw, and i am not able to wear them, after 1 month of use this did not get better. Wish I didnt get them. Wouldn't recommend them.
