The line consists of Single Pole and 3-Way Switches and a Tamper-Resistant Outlet. Innovative installation features such as color-coded lever terminals (including the ground terminal) for faster, efficient wiring, a larger strap with a unique tongue and groove alignment feature for quicker trim out on multi-gang installations, and no exposed metal parts for safety, make Decora Edge ideal for new home construction and MDU projects as well as retrofit applications. Installers using Decora Edge will experience an installation process as unique as it is practical. The color-coded levers provide the foundation for quick installation by helping to rapidly identify the correct terminal for wiring, including a lever terminal for the ground wire. The lever termination feature assures a positive connection has been made. This unique design has a snap feature with an audible 'click' so installers can be confident with every termination.

These are a great alternative to conventional electric outlets and the price is reasonable. They are much quicker to wire up than screw type and seem safer than the back stab attachment method. There is a limitation that you can only attach 2 wires to each side so works for through wiring but not is you need more than 2 wire junction. Also these take up more room in the outlet box than conventional outlets.

As a Residental Electrician i wanted to hate these bc i always hook and wrap my wires terminals but these are better. No live screws on the side and they fold into the box easier. Not anywhere close to old backstabbing these are lever nut connections.

Sure you’ll have some boomers saying “that’s a weaker connection than my J hook torque to 8.942 inch pounds” they’re wrong.It’s an excellent product and it saves a whole lot of time when installing outlets and switches. You know you have a secure, safe connection and it isn’t prone to errors like leaving a screw too loose or hooking the wire the wrong direction. Additionally the sides are plastic so no risk of shock when grabbing the sides.These lever spring connections are rated beyond what they say they are, and they are safer and are harder to mess up. Absolutely love them, and the time saved.However, I have 1 complaint to dock a star. That is compatibility with outlet covers. Not sure why they have a thick and taller plastic than standard thin metal on most outlets (the bunny ears)I had a whole bunch of screwless 1 gang covers that didn’t fit , and some two gang they didn’t fit. Same for screw type covers I tried. I had to specifically buy mid size outlet covers to fit and, in my opinion, it seems like there’s no logical design reason for that.

fantastic for DIY'ers.
pretty affordable alternative to the traditional outlets. Not having to use a screwdriver is awesome and to be able to easily and quickly remove it reuse it is great. I am just a DIY'er so not a professional, but these are all I will be using in the future when not requiring ones with usb ports etc. Highly recommended.
The easiest outlet I’ve ever installed!
The media could not be loaded. These are an absolute game changer! No more bending loops, tapping the outside, making sure to tighten the loops the right way, etc. It was so easy in fact I was able to do it 1 handed.As an added bonus for an amateur diyer, the plastic at the top and bottom doesn’t permanently bend as easy as the traditional metal ones, So if you over tighten it won’t permanently deform and have to be bent back to sit flush with the plate.The connector between the two hot connectors is accessible in case you want to have one of the plugs on a switch. (In the video the plug used to be half on a switch, but we got rid of the switch).Note for the screwless wall plate, the top and bottom tabs had to be snapped off.For only a couple bucks more than the traditional ones these are definitely worth it!

No está mal el tomacorrientes, pero... a veces se salen los cables, y eso que están ponchados, sin embargo al momento de probar el voltaje con un multímetro, no se puede ingresar, por las tapas de seguridad que tienen en donde van las clavijas, entonces no puede saber el voltaje que hay en ese momento.... solo se puede meter un "conector" en donde te dice que está conectado correctamente, la fase, neutro y puesta a tierra, (que eso si ayuda por los colores en el diseño).
Easy to install
I hadn't used this clip system for attaching wires before, it worked okay, but I am more confident with the standard plugs wiring methods. They seem more secure.
