This tall, low profile fireplace is a perfect fit, looks great and does a good job heating our living room. The adjustable flame is realistic and adds a nice touch! It was easy to assemble and I only needed help to lift the firebox into place.

It was easy to put 2gthr. The actual heating element is of great quality. The fire place is beautiful. One star because 3 of the pieces don't line up and there are cracks u can see because of it. That's truly bothersome to me. What can I do about it, it's already completely put 2gthr.

Across from my bed are two large closet doors separated by a blank wall where I have a 43" TV hanging. I wanted something to sit below it to provide space for a compact soundbar, and a bonus if it had one of those electric fireplaces. There are several options out there that fit the bill, but this one is special in that the "fireplace" sits high enough that I can actually see most of it while sitting in my bed (others are too low). By all counts, this is just about perfect for my use.I initially was planning to buy black, but the white was notably cheaper, so I took a chance, and I'm very glad I did. It may not look all that exciting in the pictures, but it's a nice, subtly-distressed look. In person, it doesn't look cheap or bland at all. The contrasting mantle is a great touch.The quality is also very nice for the price. I've purchased at least two other items from this brand in the past and I've been impressed with all of them, this one perhaps the most. It looks high quality, and feels reasonably high quality too (though its lighter weight gives away that it's built to a budget).Now, here's the caveat to this review: I haven't even tried the electric fireplace yet. I don't have any outlets nearby that aren't already serving multiple somewhat high-current devices, so adding an electric fireplace didn't seem like a good idea. One of these days I'll discretely run another circuit into the mix, but I haven't needed heat yet and the fireplace visual has admittedly been lower priority than I'd expected. Either way, I expect it to be a nice touch when I eventually do run it. If you've never seen an electric fireplace before, don't get your hopes too high--none of them look all that great.. but I think they're neat in their own right, and add a nice ambiance regardless.It recommends two people to build, but I managed to do it by myself with minimal fuss. The hardest part was ensuring some pieces stayed level while screwing in pieces, but with a little clever positioning of your arms and legs, it's doable. It'll take a bit of time (I'm thinking it took me about 35 minutes), but the end result is worth it and looks more impressive than the amount of work (and money) that you put into it.Ultimately, I highly recommend this. Other than being an inch or two wider to fit my space perfectly, I can't think of a single way I'd improve this. The only thing I'd say you should keep in mind is that it's not very deep (which is actually what I wanted). It'll fit a COMPACT soundbar, but that's about it. If you have a FireTV Cube in addition to a soundbar, for example, you'll have to either set it nearly on the floor, or find another place for it entirely (or hang the soundbar above your TV). Came in about a million pieces, but wasn't difficult to assemble. I did it by myself in about an hour. The black parts looked a little cheap/plasticy, so I painted those parts with black paint to make it look more like real wood. Looks 1000 times better. All in all, it was the size I needed and works well.

This fire place is literally wonderful, beautiful and impressive. It fits in a small place any where in the house, it gives real like flames that look so realistic to the point that they can be mistaken for real flames! It works with heat or without. It is absolutely beautiful. It gives a warm ambiance in any room. The price is also right and it was easy to assembly. A true beauty for any house or office.

I have never had an electric fireplace before but I literally just moved and had the perfect spot for one. I was able to put it together super quickly and it is everything I wanted it to be! Not too loud and really warms the space well! I use it usually just at night and h helps me keep the oil heat use to a minimum.Pro tip for assembly, make sure to have some thick books around to lay forwards on while you screw in some of the pieces. This saved me when it was not level because I had added the bottom part that sticks out a bit and needed a level surface to work off.Will update at the 6mo the mark!

Looks and works great, was easy to customize as bit
I really like this thing. I customized it a bit and put the fireplace nearer to the top as it's placed at the end of my bed and it made it more visible. I also didn't bother with the strange wood colored piece that goes on the top. It didn't look great with the black and I actually didn't notice it in the pics on Bolo when I purchased it. Fortunately it was easy to leave it off. Like all electric fireplaces it doesn't look like a real fire but it's fine. Especially at this price. The heater works and is fairly quiet but I don't use it very much.

Needed something narrow but aesthetically pleasing and effective for the wall cut out and this fits and works really well! The flame effect is meh at best but it has a large flame area which gives it a premium look and puts out great heat as well. Assembly instructions are exceptional and it’s not overly difficult to put together.

Don’t buy this piece of garbage. Every single piece came damaged and the only option you have is to drop this item for return. It weight so much it will kill your back to lift it and drop it to get your money back
