We’ve been using the Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk products for my son’s curly hair, and they’ve worked really well. His curls look more defined, soft, and manageable without feeling heavy or sticky.I love that the products don’t leave buildup and help control frizz while keeping the curls natural-looking. They also have a nice, light scent.Overall, these products have made his curl routine much easier, and we’ll definitely keep using them. Highly recommended for curly hair.
Wonderful for starting hair journey and for maintaining curls
Works amazing, all 3 products work wonderfully and brought out my curls. I always thought I has straight hair and had been styling it like it was straight for my whole life, and I found out recently that it was in fact very wavy, so I bought these products and from day 1 I saw the results, best paired with a bonnet at night for maximum results in the morning. Products hold curls, make your hair smell wonderful, makes hair last several days with proper care, and no frizz especially with bonnet. I have long, thicker hair and this worked wonders. It keeps hair hydrated and feels clean even after using the product.
Curly hair math included
If you have curly hair you already know nothing works perfectly right out of the gate. There is always a learning curve and this set definitely comes with one.The sculpting gel is the star for me. It defines curls and smooths flyaways without turning my hair into a crunchy helmet which already puts it ahead of most gels I have tried.The mousse is fine. I do not hate it. I also do not love it. That may be a me problem because I am just not a big mousse person in general so take that for what it is worth.Once I figured out the right combo and amounts my curls finally cooperated and I stopped fighting my reflection which feels like success. If you are willing to experiment a little this set can absolutely work for you. Also it smells great!

I like how it shows the steps for a person who’s new to taking care of their waves and curls. The nozzle of the mousse came in loose and broken so it’s hard to control the amount.I’m still getting the hang of it but don’t like the crunchy texture with gel. It’s still a little crunchy after hair oil. I’ll likely switch it out with another gel or skip it as I’m still experimenting what my hair likes. The mousse and cream leaves my hair define without the gel. I’m content with how it is.

I love the cream and mousse! I don’t use gel but it’s cheaper buying the 3 pcs together than just buying the individual items. They make my curls defined and soft. Highly recommended!!
