I needed to do some wiring in my attic and needed something that would be easy and secure. This worked perfectly for my purposes. It does seem a little pricey for what it really is, but its a very good product.

These worked great for open unprotected junction splices in an attic . There are cheaper options but these type of boxes save time .No need for turning off power to bust apart splices. The junction boxes even has flush indents for inside mounting screws .

I bought these mainly for the use case of finishing a basement and leaving an exposed (black painted) ceiling which is trendy these days.As a result of that needed to cleanup several wire runs and old messy junction boxes in the joists, I picked these exclusively for their appearance basically.They look great, have good capacity, and are code compliant for open splices. They are not really a great deal price wise since they seem pretty flimsy.The advertising uses them as just taking a pre existing open splice and jamming it in here, I wouldn’t do that. Odds are if someone spliced wires together and left them exposed they didn’t splice them properly.If I wasn't using these in a finished space (exposed in ceiling), I would pick a more normal box since it’d probably be 70% cheaper.

Excellent tool
Excellent delivery time. Item is a bit bulky but did the job perfectly. A consideration would be to have different sizes of boxes where some are flater, less bulky. Otherwise an excellent solution to my problem. Would recommend it and would buy again.

Super easy and no need to detach wires. Took away one star because it's expensive for one plastic box.
