I ordered this scale for a couple of reasons. 1. I wanted something where the display was more prominently positioned, and 2. I needed a bigger display. This scale has both those things. Bonus is that it was priced right. I cook mostly by weight measure rather than by using cups/spoons. I am a scientist by education and employment, and this just makes more sense to me for accuracy. I like that this scale comes with a 100 gram weight for checking the calibration of the scale, and that there is a convenient compartment in the bottom of the scale to store the weight. The scale also is nice in appearance and looks good sitting out on my kitchen counter. It is larger than my previous one, but not so huge as to be in the way. I am pleased with this purchase and recommend this to others who enjoy cooking recipes using weights for measurement.

This scale has everything to assist in a low salt diet and at a reasonable price. It's accurate, easy to use, has a a nice cover and includes a calibrating weight that so far, I haven't even needed. It charges from a USB port and has replaceable batteries(two AAA) that are included.

This scale is VERY precise, almost too much so. The ounces go out to the thousandth measurement! Nice size for weighing dinner plates, etc. Love the hold feature and the fact that it plugs into an outlet, so we don't have to replace batteries constantly. Also love that you can turn off the automatic shutoff feature. There's nothing more irritating than trying to weigh six ounces of differing fruits, only to have it shut off while you're prepping the next fruit for weighing. The only negative is that the port for plugging in is near the front of the scale; it would keep the cord more out of the way if it plugged in back. Oh, also love that it came with a 100 gm weight for calibrating the scale.

This is THE best scale in the world in my book. I have used this scale for over a year now. Still as good and reliable as day one.If I was given a $500 scale as a gift, I would still use this one. The batteries! Options! Options! Options! I wish other electronics combined a built in battery, PLUS extra batteries, PLUS running off a plug. Why don't other companies take advantage of this? Its so cool. This thing ALWAYS turns on. Always!The built in weight is something most scales dont have but this does. It stowes away nicely and never gets lost. It has a large platform and there are SO MANY measuring units!I liked this scale so much, I had an unlimited budget to get my sister a scale, and I chose this one for her. This scale is a true gem. I have used it for small measurements, big measurements. Medical purposes, for mail, for gems. And even used it for weighing industrial parts and large items. You could use this to measure salt, or something as big as a small to medium size briefcase (under 5kg).From what I can tell accuracy has always been on point. Its amazing the scale range. Honestly, I buy alot of stuff, and this is the hallmark of value. A true hidden gem in internet land. Every once in awhile, you can find a grandslam on Bolo or chinese branded products. This is a Grandslam. I cannot recommend enough. This should be standard issue for every American household.Neither of the 2 units have ever given me problems. As mentioned before, the one I bought has been kicked around and used for over a year. Still going strong. I have never once turned it on and have it not turn on. It always has power. No issues. None. I cannot think of a single negative. This scale is a 15 out of 10.This is... The BEST scale.Period.

Pros:- Battery runs- consistent- large surface area- digital screen- overall compositionCon:- The near .01 precision, When I try to weigh out coffee it will jump from 17.6g => 18.3g which can be frustrating when trying to get that perfect 18.00g.Overall love this scale for general use like baking and so on, but lacks for anything to the .01g precision.

This sits on our counter and is used all the time. It plugs in to charge once in a while but lasts a long time.I even started using it to weigh ingredients for baking instead of using volume measures. Add ingredient, tare, add another, tare, etc. very easy.Conveniently tares when you turn it on.This one can't be submerged, but the surface is easily cleaned, and it comes with a convenient tray to put loose stuff in. The tray can go in the dishwasher.Would recommend for an active kitchen or if you track your food intake.

It's rechargeable but the battery doesn't last very long. Thankfully there's also a battery compartment because you need that when it's low.I charged it up and used it one day for a couple items, turned it off and 2 days later went to use it and it was already dead.The measuring is good I think. I use the calibration weight that is included and it seems accurate.I really like that it measures small quantities. I just wish it would have a better battery life.I had another scale that was rechargeable and it was much better at keeping the battery charged (months).

Diese Waage ist toll. Bei einem Maximalgewicht von 5kg und einer Messskala im 0,1 Gramm Bereich ist sie mehr als ausreichend für unsere Ernährungsanwendung. Wenn man einen normalen Essteller darauf stellt, kann man das helle Display noch super ablesen. Kombiniere mehrere Zutaten auf einem Teller und stelle die Waage mit Tare immer wieder auf Null - kein Problem! Bei Entnahme von Lebensmitteln aus einem Gefäß geht die Waage ins Minus. Auch perfekt! Die Reinigung klappt auch super. Wir vermissen Nichts und sind begeistert. Hoffentlich hält sie viele Jahre.

Funcionaba bien pero la tuvimos que descambiar porque, aunque la precisión es la dice el fabricante, el punto de salida no era 0,01g sinó 0,5g. Necesitábamos comenzar desde menor peso.El fabricante nos la descambió sin problema.La verdad que considero que es buena báscula, que la precisión se ajusta más o menos dentro que no hay ninguna que sea tan exacta sin ser científica y vale cerca de los 1000€.Así que si es para uso de casa, es buena y precisa. Aconsejo mirar peso de salida y peso máximo que alcanza para no llevarse sorpresas. Todas las básculas de éste tipo llegan hasta 5kg.
