I was hoping that the lower price and faster shipping would be worth it, though unfortunately the seller in this instance has been found short.From the box, key items were missing - the cheek blades that were shown in the item picture were missing, which was a selling point compared to other helmets I've bought in the past (the included photographs show some examples of other units I own. This wouldn't have been such a big deal, but it means I have to purchase them from elsewhere and invest more in what I assumed would have been a complete package.Confusingly, the jaw lights supplied also don't match - one is solid white, as advertised, while the other has a tri-colour RGB set-up for some reason? Again, this isn't much of an issue (I own other helmets, I can use parts from another one), but it's frustrating when I expected the item to come ready-to-go out of the box.Another critique is that the wires, switch and battery pack are all held in place using a thick and sticky pad as opposed to tape or hot glue - over time, this pad is bound to collect lint and lose its adhesion, which necessitated a little work with a hot glue gun to rectify. This wasn't too much of an issue for me personally (I'd planned to switch out the ring light for another colour regardless) but for someone who wanted a great experience out of the box, it may not quite go as intended.Overall, it's a great item and I'll be getting a lot of use out of it as I modify it and bring it up to specification - but it's frustrating that I have to go out of my way to replace parts that should have been included with the order. A little checking before packing and shipping would go a long way to making sure the end product reaches the customer in a decent, complete state.
