I ordered this to go with the little doll I bought my granddaughter (who was turning seven) for her birthday. Much to my surprise, she started wanting to use it as her school back pack because she loved it so much and it was "pink and had sparkles". Gratefully, she's only in first grade so, at this point, she doesn't have very many books to carry. Although it's not designed to be a school back pack it held up reasonably well for the abuse a backpack is subjected to so I imagine it would do great as a doll carrier like it's suppose to be used for. Best part is, my granddaughter loved it and she can use it for anything her imagination chooses to use it for!

The backpack was cute and the perfect size for my preschooler, but the strap tore off on the second day of school. The only thing she was carrying was an extra pair of clothes.

This is a cute Cry Babies backpack, but the glitter is not underneath a protective plastic coating. So the glitter sheds everywhere. The glitter is rough so it catches on clothing and causes major pilling. I do not recommend this backpack.
