The learning curve is easy, as there are multiple ways to do the same function. I used what I thought was the easiest for me. I love the hover function, and how easy it is to land. I live on the water, so the second time I flew it, it was probably a little too windy and I should have known better (because my husband told me not so.) but I'm a big kid and I did it anyway. I let the drone get too far away from me and I think the wind took it when I tried to land, I almost made it to shore, except I didn't. No worries, I did have to jump in the bay to rescue my totally submerged drone...ugh! I turned everything off and took out the battery, at home I rinsed in fresh water (drone not the battery) then took the blow dryer to it. I dried the battery, (it comes with two) and everything works fine, and I didn't have to tell my husband he was right...even better! Also, this is actually my first ever successful drone flight, we have lost a total of 3 of the smaller ones so far. This one does take a beating, I managed to get it stuck in a tree and I just wanted it down so i kept messing with the propeller function until it fell out of the tree. Amazing nothing was broken, I slammed into several other obstacles, and I was amazed no damage! This is definitely one to learn on. I plan on getting a bigger one I can fly over the ocean to look for sharks on the shoreline. Equipped with camera also you just have to download the app; you can use the remote or your phone to fly. I only used remote for starters, which is fine for this one. but I think the phone is probably the best to use when you upgrade, so this is perfect to learn the phone control functions, apparently, they are all similar.

The media could not be loaded. I recently bought this RC drone, and it’s been such a hit with the whole family! Right from the start, it was easy to set up and fly, even for beginners like us. The controls are responsive and intuitive, making it fun and straightforward to navigate. We were especially impressed with the stability and smoothness of the flight—it hovers beautifully and handles light wind quite well, which has made our outdoor sessions a blast.One of my favorite features is the camera quality; it captures surprisingly clear photos and videos, adding an extra level of enjoyment to our flights. The battery life is decent for a drone in this price range, and it charges quickly, so we can get back in the air without too much waiting. This drone features some cool features such apps that you can control it with your phone or tablet. It is a little bit difficult to fly my 11 year old son had to go on a rescue mission to get the drone out of the neighbor's yard because he accidentally hit the wrong button on the remote and it took off. It comes with replacement parts and a charger. This would be a really cool thing for a kid maybe a little bit older than 11 I would say maybe 12 to adult because I feel like there are a lot of features that my son is not fully understanding and that is the reason for the 4 star rating. It is a light weight drone with folding wings. The remote takes double AA batteries that are not included.

We actually purchased 2 of these drones. We took it to an open field at our local park to really test it out. We had so much fun especially with being able to make the drones hover right at eye level. It really goes high up. Easy control once you get used to it. Definitely gift worthy or even a fun toy for adults as well

My son and 7 year old granddaughter had the best time using this drone. It’s so easy to use that she could fly it by herself. It comes with an app you can put on your phone or you can use the included remote. Either way it’s a lot of fun and the picture quality is superb. The price is fantastic for the quality that you get. Battery life is long too.
