It's easy enough to put together and the app is easy to navigate. I do recommend getting right down by the dial if you want to record any messages as the quality of the sound isn't the absolute best, but it's not like you're trying to listen to music off of it. It does great, and the notification for when the resevoir is getting close to empty is a lifesaver.My only complaint is that the metal pans holding the food are a bit difficult to remove for cleaning. They're just sitting in there, but there's not really a notch to get your finger underneath it, so you almost have to turn the thing upside down or disconnect it from the stand to get at it. I solved the problem by attaching a small rare earth magnet to it to act as a handle.You also definitely need a tray to set these on. The bowls are good enough to catch the food as it's dispensed, but they are shallow so the food gets knocked out easily.

We bought this to replace a feeder that had one of those two-button LCD interfaces that are so hard to see and so clunky to program. I thought it would be so much easier to use an app - and it IS easier! But I also like the design of this feeder much better, too, because you can actually see through it so you can see how much food is left (though the app will remind you, too, if the food is running low) unlike so many other feeders that are trendy opaque black.One other unexpected bonus: The cord is long enough that I can plug it into an outlet that is too high up for our goofy boy kitty to unplug it. (Well, at least he hasn't managed it yet!) like he used to love doing for some reason with the old one. Most of these feeders have battery backups for when this happens, but on battery the old feeder quickly became too weak to actually push the food out into the bowls properly.I thought the whole "voice recording" thing was a bit silly, but I tried it and it turns out the cats love it. But then, the cats are a bit silly, too!

I have owned this cat feeder for a couple of weeks now. I wanted this because with summer here, I wanted the cats to get their nightime feeding which is at 10:00 if I'm not here. Cats stomachs will start to have issues if they don't eat at least every 8 hours. So, I bought this, put it together and it is nice. I like that I can plug it in and it has a place to put batteries in it for backup power. It is pretty easy to set up. Once you read the instructions, and follow them, it works like it is supposed to. I really like that I can record a message on it as well. Just remember that you have to speak in a loud voice in order for the cats to hear the message you are recording. When it's crunch time (which is the 10:00 dry food feeding) I have recorded what I would say to the cats if I was home at that time. So when they hear the recording, and hear the food dropping in the bowls they come running. So far I have no complaints whatsoever. I like how much food you can put into the unit. and it locks in place. The cats have not tried to knock this over. It's working out really well here. It is sturdy and it is a great feeder.

I have had this for a few months now. Overall, I like it and recommend but there’s one thing holding me back from the 5 star; The notification of low food. When I first got this, it said it was low food and to refill constantly even when full. Like it never DIDN’T say low food. I’d just keep getting notifications thru the app. Then, the sensor never worked when it actually did get kinda low (I just figured maybe it wasn’t low enough to trigger it).Today, I got a notification it was running low and it had literally no food to even give a single feeding. Generally, this really isn’t an issue because you can see the feeding tank but my Chewy delivery was a day behind so I was out. I have wet food and other options though.Other than this annoyance, it has worked great. App is easy to program and stays on schedule. My cats have unplugged the power a couple times but it still fed on time with the batteries which is good. The notification when it is disconnected from WiFi has been accurate but only happened twice due to the plug physically coming undone. Good for peace of mind that the batteries will still feed on time though.Knibb high football rules.

I have done a lot of research into automatic feeders. I work in EMS so I leave for 48, sometimes 72 or more hours straight. I needed a way to make sure my cats were still each getting their daily amount of calories. I purchased this feeder to replace two individual feeders I had, whose times never synched up well. One was always just a little bit off, so it would dispense food before the other one. My extremely food-motivated cat would then scarf down half of the first dispense, and then run to the second feeder when it went off. Since having this feeder, I can now say that my cat is formerly obese. He has lost over 10 pounds just by having his food more closely monitored by a robot. I also purchased an L bracket and a plexiglass panel to attach to the floor as a divider to keep the cats very clearly on opposite sides of the feeder.The hopper is a fantastic size and fits almost an entire 7lb bag of food. Programming is also fairly straightforward, with a wide variety of options for feeding. You can set it to dispense several times a day, and at different amounts.It's also a great price for what a lot of other automatic feeders go for.

This is a great product. I love that it makes my life easier. I program it to serve 6 different portions throughout the day and never have to worry about whether or not I forgot to feed the cats. It keeps the dry food in the bowl and not all over my floor. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. The only thing i haven’t figured out is how to turn the voice recording volume down. It did startle me the first day. Overall it’s simple functional product that is easy to set up and adjust to your cat’s needs.

O alimentador trouxe uma revolução em casa. Temos quatro gatos que estavam acostumados a pedir comida, cada um em um horário diferente e éramos quase escravos deles, ahahaha. Com o alimentador programei a liberação da comida em quatro horários ao longo do dia e eles acostumaram rapidinho e nós nos libertamos. Além disso o produto é muito bem confeccionado e funciona perfeitamente. Pelo aplicativo você pode configurar a programação de alimentação e conferir a quantidade de doses liberadas em cada dia. Valeu cada centavo.
Fantastic feeder
easy to use and the set up was a breeze...used it for my 2 cats while we were on holiday for a week and work like a dream...really easy to use and clean....strong material...highly recommend it....the voice recording to call the cat is a cool feature and sound is pretty good....works on the cat...I highly recommend it

This is a game changer! No longer are my cats sitting on my head at 5am, begging to be fed - this dispenses their food at a set time, twice a day (can be more times if you wish). Once built, it was easy to programme and set up. I thoroughly recommend this product.
The best feeder I've ever bought
I have never written a review before but this product needed to be my first. I have two cats and I've had two different feeders before so this is my third that I had to buy when one of my old feeders crapped out on me. I was simply going to buy a replacement but fell onto the dual feeder and was intrigued.Let me tell you, it's cheaper and better than any feeder I've had.-The bowls are stainless steel and removable so it's easy to clean and hygienic-The machine can be taken apart to clean out the food receptacle (my old feeders could never)-The buttons are user friendly but can't be manipulated by my highly food driven cats (my old feeder I had to hold down buttons, push others, wait for flashing numbers to change them, if I overshot a number I had to cycle through again until I got the right one, etc.) this one is so simple and then locks so that your cat can't mess with it.-the base is super sturdy and supported by 4 metal dowels so my cat can't knock it down (her favourite sport)-the hole from which the food comes out of is cat proof, my cat can no longer shove her paw up there to make food fall down.-there is up to 6 time slots I can program to feed my cats so I can keep them active throughout the day with small portions.If you have an overly intelligent bully of a cat that loves to body check feeders, shove their paws up the shoot or my cats personal favourite, lift the non removable tray of my old machine to make the whole thing teeter and fall to spill food, this machine is your solution.My cat senses this machine isn't to be trifled with and doesn't even try anymore. This thing is indestructible and honestly, as I was assembling it I kept thinking, "omg this is such a well thought-out, smart, design" and I don't feel I can say that about much these days.Highhhhhlllyyyyyy recommend this machine, my last machine was all one piece and after 4 years that thing was disgusting I felt so bad for my cats but now I can make sure their food is kept in a clean, dry, washable feeder. Plus it looks small but the reservoir holds quite a bit of food, I'm not filling it often.

Fantastic feeder
