I like the feel of this mat. It seems of great quality and hopefully will last for a very long time. It seems very sturdy but also is sufficiently malleable to be used for my crafting purposes. The surface is smooth which is desirable.

If you're having problems getting enough pressure on your projects, this pad is just the ticket. It's much firmer than a pressing pillows, so easier to get higher pressure with less force. I actually found I was getting too much pressure with it in my auto press, but it's great for my smaller manual presses.

I bought this for my wife's autopress smaller items like tank tops or onsies. Because of the reviews, I was hoping it was like one I bought several year ago to replace clamshell heat press pad. It definitely wasn't. It is more porous and way too soft for to use on a real heat press and there is no way we can use it for DTF. Maybe an EasyPress or hand iron, but nothing that needs firm pressure.Also, it is not as thick as it was advertised and mine came with a divot on the edge.

I bought this to use with my Cricut autopress to hopefully be able to press some items that need a firmer mat. I have not used it for that press yet but I have used it for my hand held press and it works great. I chose this mat as its size is the same as my autopress so I didn’t have to worry about cutting it. I have been looking a mat like this for awhile but price was always an issue. When I came across this one I scooped it up as the price was great and so far the product has been great.
You need to know what you are looking for
It is a fairly thin mat compared to the one you most likely received with your press.But it is not necessarily a bad thing especially if you use your press for sublimating large items with cardboard.I ruined my original press mat by pressing ceramic tiles too hard. They embedded into the mat and it never healed itself. This new one is pretty dense and I don't see the same problem happening.If you need the same thickness as your original press mat, get 2 of these.
