it is a piece of crap the controls are totally difficult to use; the radio receiver is totally useless unless you are right next to the station the instructions should come with a microscope even though I could get a refund I'm just going to throw in the trash and never buy a PHILCO item again

I purchased this product because I have been ordering more books on MP3 formats, but the CD player that I have would not play the MP3 format. I find that the MP3 player will not play the entire disk. It will not play past the 38 track. The book I'm listening to now has 60 tracks. But the player will only play up to track 38. It is not just this current book, but a number of disks. The disks come from multiple sources so do not think it is the disk themselves. I have to take the disk out to the car and drive around to listen to the rest of the book. Don't know if I have a bad MP3 player or if this is normal, but it is frustrating.
