Came back to review this and give it 5* and realized I already have. If you want a neodymium magnet, get a neodymium magnet. If you want something that won’t meld to any ferrous surface via cold fusion and can be cut to size with scissors, get this. The adhesive for a wider, weaker magnet is going last longer than smaller, more powerful magnet with a small contact area. Even these overcome the adhesive at times.—This is expensive but it is not comparable to the other magnetic adhesive tapes/sheets I’ve tried. This jumps up onto magnetic surfaces and snaps together. It can hold medium amounts of weight without being annoying and dangerous like solid neodymium magnets.I spent way too much time trying out different ones. I think this is a great medium in being easy to apply, MUCH stronger than expected, but not as overpowered and difficult to work with as solid neodymium magnets.I would really give this a try before getting some 40x10x3 mm neodymium bars with an adhesive backing. This can be cut to size. I would be ordering yards of this if it wasn’t so expensive.

I used these on a metal door to help it remain closed. Magnets works greta but they were so strong the adhesive didn't;t hold them and they stuck to the for with each open and close. I added superglue and that worked.

So, this tape offers two functions. It has the 3M adhesive to stick to things and the niobium magnet tape to hold things.It does both very well.I used one roll to put a double row of tape on the end of my collapsible camping table to hold 4 of my griddle utensils.After a few weeks of continously using, I have only positive things to report!Not TOO strong, but just right.Highly recommend.

It did not work for our purposes. we want to be able to place 2 magnets together and have then repeal.This product does not have poles like neodyne magnets do.
