I love this powdered detergent! It's annoying that it's become so impossible to find just the powder anymore. Everywhere only wants to sell the pods, and they don't work well compared to this powder. This stuff works great, and I completely recommend it. Make sure you sprinkle a little bit in the dishwasher outside of the compartment, and it really helps make the dishwasher clean better

I prefer Calgon powder over the liquid form (I can add my own water, after all, and the liquid is heavy for my aging hands). This large size allows me hot to need order often.

When something is extremely sticky and hard to scrub, cover bottom of pan with Cascade and add hot water, let it soak and everything is easy to scrub off.

Glad Bolo carries the powder. I've had friends who've had issues with pods and gels in their dishwashers. I'm sticking to the powder, but the stores don't carry powder anymore.

I've been using an environmentally friendly dishwasher powder for over one year that I purchase from the manufacturer directly because I believe in using non-toxic products. However, my dishes and flatware have been coming out of my 4 year old dishwasher with rust spots on the flatware and a white film on the glassware. This is even scrubbing them before putting them in the dishwasher and using a rinse aid. Thinking it might be the dishwasher, I removed the filter and gave it a good cleaning even though it wasn't very dirty. I also ran the dishwasher through a clean cycle using white vinegar.The problem still persisted, especially with finding rust spots on my flatware.I choose not to use the dishwasher pods because the covering has nano-particles in it that contaminates the water. For this reason, I have chosen to go back to the traditional Cascade powder. So far, the problem with rust spots on my flatware no longer exists and my dishes come out nice and clean.I truly wanted the environmental powder to work. Unfortunately, Cascade powder does a better job.
