It has made me a true believer not once but twice.I bought it the first time to help me with the wreckage of an incredibly horrible Salon experience.I had a hairdresser fry my platinum blonde hair for the first time ever. I am a natural blonde so I have baby fine hair anyway, and I would always just get it lightened about two shades. I didn’t realize how wrong the hair coloring could go until it happened. 😱So, I had to essentially begin at ground zero.I went red for the first time in my life because there is no way my hair could take another round of blonde.Everyone told me to try Olaplex… It would help me more than I could imagine.I hard always used high-end products and always cared for every detail of my hair, so I knew it was going to take a lot to impress me.But, I had never had such damaged hair in my life and I couldn’t get it in back in shape with my usual products. That was scary.And, it was very depressing.I’m not going to lie… I was extremely skeptical of Olaplex - and I couldn’t even stomach the thought of paying what the full size bottles cost without me knowing if it could even help.So, I compromised and tried this little travel kit first to see if it is even worth it - and I was a TOTAL believer in the first few times I used it!!!I had zero problem buying the full size versions of each item in this kit and then a few other things.Yes, it was a huge investment upfront but it was a blessing.In just a few short months, my hair was transformed!It was definitely healthier than it had ever been even with all my other outstanding products.It truly got my hair - and self esteem - to a MUCH better place. I always got so many compliments about how healthy my hair was!Sone could say because I wasn’t putting on as harsh of products as I was before with the red as I was with a blonde, but truthfully - I had to have my hair done more frequently and have more product put on it trying to stay red with my blonde roots.So, I am extremely confident that it was Olaplex that helped it to get & stay healthy -and for so long.Honestly, I didn’t realize how much it was working until serious medical issues hit me this past year.I had a colorectal cancer scare and my body was extremely anemic from blood loss. My system was all out of whack - especially my B & D vitamins were seriously low and I fell into depression.Since then, my skin and hair have paid the price because of all that plus my immune system was so shot… So I have been sick more than I’ve been healthy over the past year.I had no idea that my hair was so healthy until it wasn’t. 😩Because of all the medical costs, I haven’t been able to afford Olaplex full-size bottles in a long time. Plus, my hair and self esteem took a ba k seat to all the scary stuff.Now, that I am through my cancer scare and I’m focused working to get my immune system up and my vitamin and supplement levels back in balance, I really want to get my hair back on track.I guess I didn’t realize how bad it forgotten because it was so low priority for me.My hairdresser took me back to blonde in August… and then I wasn’t able to get my hair done for a long time.So it has paid the price in every way.I share all this to say I finally realized that I could begin again just like I did before… to get me back on track, I could buy this travel size and see if it’s as good as I remember!!!So I purchased it this week and it arrived same day thanks to my Bolo Prime…and I am so happy I did it!The very first time I used these small travel -size products yesterday, I could feel the difference immediately!Yay!I did buy the full-size blonde shampoo and the full-size blow dry spray to give it some extra “umph!”Using this two products along with these essential basics just once made my hair feel like it was 10 times better!The texture was softened and my hair styled soooo much better.Ahhhh!!!I can’t wait to have my Olaplex transformation routine again.I’m getting my hair done next week thankfully, so my blonde will look on point with the refreshed color and Olaplex products - especially the purple shampoo tossed in several times a week - as my foundation.As I work to get life back on track, I will probably buy this kit one more time and then start buying incrementally the full-size versions.ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS/TIPSThe best part about Ola Plex for those new to it is that you really do only have to put a little bit (just a few small drops) in your hand and then grt your other hand wet & rub your hands together.I promise - it will go a long way.Do NOT put the entire concentrate on your head in one big glob without water. You’ll be wasting so much!That advice is for both the trial size and the full size bottle of their products.You can always add more if it’s not enough, but you can’t take back what you waste.The stuff does cost a lot, but it really does go a long way if you know how to handle it.I called Olaplex liquid gold because it does cost a lot lol BUT, more so, it also is worth its weight in gold for the incredible results you’ll get.One last word of advice - and it’s not anything I’m going to take a star off for…But, I just want you to know that you definitely want to go through the bottles of pre-shampoo, shampoo and conditioner , unscrew the lids and pull off the little sealed tabs before you get in the shower.Maybe you are more talented than me, but when my fingers are wet and those tubes are so little, I can’t get my fingers to pull it off. There’s no extra kedge to grab hold of.I had to stop my shower, get out, dry my hands and attempt to get them open.Honestly, I still couldn’t get it & I got so frustrated I just took an earring and used the post to poke a hole into the tab.It didn’t remove the tab, it just poked through and created enough opening where it comes out just fine.I had to do these with all 3 & then restart my shower.For everything these products have done for me, that is just a little inconvenience to let go of in getting my hair health & self-esteem back on track.Enjoy!PS thank you SO MUCH to the Olaplex company for helping me now two times get back to feeling good about my hair again after two upsetting times where it felt like my hair is seemingly ruined.Your products are miracle workers! 💜

It does leave the hair great but for the price point and that you will need all the products to get the results... it is a no for me... I can get the same results with cheaper products... What I like is that it helps you test without spending a lot... I will say the shampoo and conditioner were meh... the hair mask, hair oil and the hair styling cream were the highlight but too pricey for me.
