First of all, I found this backpack cooler before there were any reviews. I was concerned about the mentioned warranty in the description, but there were no details. Then a few of the VINE reviews appeared and I decided to pull the trigger and buy. Note this is the first written review for this item that is based on a purchased product and not a free sample.1) After I received the cooler and the box also did not have warranty info (but there was an email), I emailed the company. They were very responsive and provided the manual and warranty info via email. They have since added it to the Bolo listing as an attachment, so everyone can now see the info on the 2 year warranty. I am pleased the company was responsive.2) The cooler will hold 8 twelve ounce cans standing in a layer and 3 layers, with enough room for some ice for an afternoons outing. 24 cans. For more time, it would be less cans and more ice.3) I loaded with one layer of 8 already cold cans and put an equal amount of Ice on top for a 1:1 ratio. The cooler was placed in my 70F house. After 24 hours there was still a little ice. After 36 hours, just barely ice. After 48 hours, still cool, but no ice. I am pleased with those results. I think 16 cans and the rest filled with Ice would likely stay cold for a weekend.4) at the end of my test, I turned the cooler sideways over my sink. Water does drip out. I am not surprised by this. While the magnet is pretty strong, the top is not built in such a way as to be waterproof. I would call it water resistant. It was strong enough to remain closed when I turned upside down. Overall, I am pleased with this performance. I dont think waterproof is necessary for this to work well. And who cares if it falls over and a little water drips out. As long as the contents stay safe and cold and I think that will be the case.5) My biggest concern is that the top and bottom are made of the same foam. While its fine on the top. I am concerned that it is too soft for the bottom. When filled with weight and placed on rocky and uneven terrain, I am concerned that the bottom will deteriorate faster than other parts of the pack. I would have put a harder plastic plate across the bottom. While this is my gut feeling, I have not tested the durability of this yet, so this is just my first impression.Final thoughts, I am giving this 5 stars based on my initial impression, testing, responsiveness of the company. I like the backpack cooler and hope it holds up. I will not really be using it much until late spring when my camping trips begin, so it will not be tested for awhile. But i wanted to share my review for those considering now with the discounted introductory price.

Compre la hielera, por que me gusto y se veía bien pero cuando la empecé a usar, comenzó a guardar aromas como a podrido, pensamos que por el agua del hielo y la lavamos cada que la usamos pero seguia con el mismo aroma. Le pusimos desinfectante y eliminatdor de olores y sacar por varios dias. Pero despues de usarla siguió con el mismo aroma, creo que salio defectuosa o no esta bien sellada. Que entre agua por dentro y eso haga que con los días se eché a perder pero estoy inconforme con el producto y a pesar que apenas tengo 1 mes con el producto

There was a shipping loss and then the replacement was damaged. The Seller was very responsive and clearly wanted to see a pleased and satisfied customer. They promptly replaced the lost item and then promptly replace the damaged item too. Bad luck back to back. Life happens but responsive customer service is rare and was excellent. No games or foot dragging.Now onto the product. I love the backpack style box and magnetic seal door. It makes getting things in and out a breeze. I am replacing an old well built Ice Mule pack that lasted well over a decade. This one will not be as water tight if tipped over but it it has a fixed shape so it is much easier to access and use and see what is inside. The roll up type (ice mule) are a bit of a pain where this one is functionally easier to use. I am going to the beach or events and not on a 3 day back country trip so this is perfect for me. Pack has been fine and comfortable enough. Even put it on when riding a bike to my picnic. Stable and comfortable. Ice was there 24 to 36 hours later when I was home and emptying the cooler. Good cooler. I would recommend it and the company too.Durability has not been tested as I have not had it that long. Nothing seems weak or like it will fail so I am optimistic it will be fine.

Purchased August 2023. Love this cooler more than any cooler I’ve owned. Keeps ice and the lid is magnetic so it’s easy to get in and out of with one hand. Perfect for the truck. In September 2024, the lid broke off. The plastic “hinge” broke away from the molded plastic and the lid is no longer attached. It’s a bummer if you wanna spend another 120.00 every year. If I can get customer service to warranty a new one, I’m buying 10 for everyone at work for Christmas. I really like it but it’s also gotta last longer than a year at this price. I’ve got the cheaper one handed opening coolers and they’re awesome after several years of use but they don’t keep ice as long as this one
