It's no wonder there are so many happy people who have purchased this. Seems the few bad opinions were not being able to open the battery box. Trust me if you are able to open the shipping box you will have no issues putting in batteries. I have purchased quite a few of these mini toy drones and they have all been about the same. Kind of difficult in the beginning but you finale get the feel. Problem was that the toy was pretty much destroyed by that time. This thing is indestructible. Great for anyone who is lacking in the coordination to fly a big boy drone or kids under 8 years old who just don't care if they destroy a $40 toy. This drone has been in so many crashes. I would say it has crashed more than it has flown and still going strong. Expect a toy for a younger child and you will be happy. Not NEARLY as happy as the kids. It is so much fun just smashing it around the house. Not a good drone for outdoors at all. I need another one for Jay's sister and maybe myself. I will recommend this to family and friends.

I ordered this drone and it didn't work as advertised. No big deal, so I returned it and later went to reorder hoping the second one would work. This one also flew itself. The company issued me a refund 2 months ago for the first drone, and just the other day retroactively charged me saying I sent a different item from my order. The item they claim to have received was a cat toy that was returned separately with no issues. The second drone I sent back, but they are saying I still haven't shipped it, even though I have tracking info that shows proof of delivery. Shady company. Don't waste your time.

It’s a cute toy for little kids. I love the protective plastic built around the drone so when it hits anything, it doesn’t damage it at all, it just bounces right off. We’re still trying to learn all of the controls on the controller to better play with it so it’s not the easiest thing but not super hard either. I’m super nervous about the battery since it’s very sensitive and I don’t want it to break but so far, so good. We fully charged the battery when we first got it before we used it like we were instructed but it didn’t seem to last very long. I’m not sure how long the battery is supppsed to last though. The charger doesn’t tell you if it’s fully charged or not which is frustrating so we just assume once the light goes off that it’s done after a couple of hours. I’m still glad that we got it for my son’s sixth birthday cuz he likes it, just gets frustrated trying to learn how to use it properly to do what he wants it to do. It seems to go off on its own sometimes too even when we don’t push any buttons but maybe we’re doing something wrong. It’s a good toy.

Once it is calibrated, and the remote control is learned, it is quite fun and easy to control. On my unit the same blade broke twice making the unit unusable until new blades were ordered. The instructions are very difficult to read. The online manual is better. Replacement blades should be easier to order. Not as loud as other tiny drones which is a plus.

Works as advertised. Before flight, check two things: (1) battery is completely seated, this will destabilize the drone and can pop out during flight, and (2) ensure it's FLAT when you turn it on! Once we had that, it flies very very well for this size/price point. Other reviews have it right: battery life is very short (~10m at best), so buy more to extend flight time; "rolling mode" takes less power. If it doesn't take off flat and hover, check that there's no hair in the props (pry off with a knife from below) and that all blades are spinning! These little motors will burn out fast. Package includes 4 extra props and an extra battery, which is very nice. Overall, very impressed.
