I noticed a slight change in sound quality, as these pads seem to fit/seal around my ears better. The stock pads have a radius to the profile of the ear pad shape, whereas the new pads have a flat surface that provides a better fit. I find the material to be a better quality, construction is great, no issues at all. Great improvement for the price.

The replacement pads are a great fit and easy to install. Gave a new life to my old Px7's.Wish the foam was stiffer but that's just me.WARNING: This set of ear pads will make it difficult to fit into the carrying case. You have to squish it down a bit to make it fit.

I can already tell that these are going to last a lot longer than previous replacements because it doesn't look like it's just glue that is holding the seams together which sweat and heat from my ears were taking a toll on. They came with a little eye dropper to place water droplets on them but I haven't had to do this yet as they remain cool when worn. No condensation has formed in the headphones while using them so I'm jazzed as that was common with the foam ones. For some reason, these gel-type replacements are not as soundproof as the foam ones but I've never needed them to be completely soundproof as that kind of processing (digital) takes from the quality of the sound. 5 stars.

These are a little bit different than the ones that come on the Bowers and Wilkins Headphones originally and that they are not a “curved” cushion. As you can see from photos, they are kind of cut at straight 90 degree angles. But they work extremely well, and are very comfortable!

I like these replacement pads for my PX7’s very much. Even though the originals were comfortable, these pads are even more so. They do have a nice cooling effect that makes them less ear straining when using them for long periods of time. They are thicker than the originals, which gives them a more secure feel and better noise isolation ability, while enhancing their noise cancelling capability. Super easy to to install…no tools necessary, unless you have fingernails cut down to your skin, in which case, I would recommend a tool of some sort to wedge in between the pad and the metal of your headphones. Not too expensive either… the replacements from the website are twice as much. Recommended all around.

Tested them for couple of days before the review and I feel very positive about them. I found them much more comfortable than the stock ones, probably cause the biggest contact surface to the skin. They are also slightly thicker and firm. Wearing the originals my ear shells always touched the bottom of the ear cups. With the new ones that not happening anymore. I haven't tried the water cooling feature yet but I think with these my ears staying cooler and not sweeting for longer listening sessions. Sound signature is not changed at all, earphones sound the same. I think they have only one negative point, the isolation of the surrounding sound is slightly less compared to the originals. That won't bother me personally as I hear music mostly on a quiet environment, just have to mention it. Overall very happy with the buy. I can recommend it
