This Unpretentious White Granulated Sugar is exactly that -- white sugar. It seems to be just a bit finer than the last bag of sugar that I bought at the grocery store, but not quite as fine as "ultrafine" sugar. It seems to be very fresh, and isn't caked or clumped at all. I like receiving it in this nice container rather than the flimsy bags at the grocery store, which always makes me concerned for their purity. This is sealed. I'm quite happy with this sugar.

Unpretentious white granulated sugar 3.25 lb. Expiration date 5/2025. For a brand that claims to be “unpretentious” 16 bucks for under 4lbs of sugar compared to the 3 something for 4lbs store brand is extremely laughable and insane. Nearly five times the average cost!Yes, the packaging is simple. And I appreciate that it’s full to the top with tasty sugar. But that’s where the appreciation stops. There’s no inner seal or outer seal. That’s a big safety red flag for me. That plus the price is a huge no-no. Wouldn’t recommend.
