5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, I had no idea VR could be this good!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Not gonna lie… this kinda blew me away the first time I used it. I may be a boomer age, I always thought VR was a 2D display, just closer to your eyes.I was not prepared for the experience.Clarity is not similar to my 4K tv, and to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be the same. But what it lacks in clarity it makes up for easily in immersion. The hand grips are comfortable and like most big name products, fit/fitment is near perfect for both me and my spouse.Highly recommend this to open up your PS5 gaming experience!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Watch out for Pickaxe trigger slip
Stunning visuals, Climbing with the pickaxe is so realistic, had to shut it off when I knew I was going to fall. Could not take it and I had fallen in the game before but...Also paper box seal was broken and I was worried the code had been looked at, but there is another sealed box inside, and a scratch off on the certificate that makes it not visible.
1.0 out of 5 stars Before you waste $400 do yourself a favor and read this detailed review you can thank me afterwards!
I was so excited to finally own a PSVR2 set but boy was I ever let down. This is for me at least the biggest hyping up of a product that not only was it not worth it but I'd go as far as saying it was more of a letdown than the Sega Saturn was which is like the biggest bust of the console wars. I open the box and pull out an oversized loosely fitting so loosely I could see streams of light in the corners without any fix at all and the headset just kinda stretches like a rubber band around the back of your head a very old and worn out rubber band at that. I tried downloading the code for the game that comes with it for extra of course but kept getting error codes wrong code so didn't get to even try that. I then took all day to one at a time slowly charge each controller and come time to sync them it's another no go. They wouldn't freaking even turn on much less blink or show any signs of life even though I followed the directions to a T I never got em synced after 2 days and almost $400 gone I decided enough is enough after browsing the ridiculous excuse of a game library they have for it like every game that looked remotely cool was rated like 2.3 stars and I watched all the gameplay videos of the games that slightly interested me and after scrolling through maybe 120 I realized I might have watched 12 trailers and they all looked so fake and just had boxy graphics with chunky clunky gameplay just flat out disappointing is an understatement I was devastated after all the rave reviews this cheap feeling plastic clunky device with graphics on par with a Nintendo 64 is Sonys big achievement??? Well y'all I have to say it BIGGEST LET DOWN IN MY 30 YEARS OF GAMING! DO NOT BUY THIS OBSOLETE JUNK! There's only like 4 games in production right now and I say bury it now and let's just let Meta make our VR headsets from here on our. Lastly the one game I truly wanted to play bc it looked amazing was Resident Evil VII but guess I can try in another few years we are not there yet ladies and gentlemen! Oh and P.S. the "Big Screen" with the eye tracking and all that fancy 4K each eye blah blah was seriousy more like a 47 inch tv it's ok gets the job done but come on is it really a BIG SCREEN you could of had the 65 inch but noooo lol 😂
5.0 out of 5 stars Mega gaming solution for immersive experience
Next level video game and digital entertainment. At first the headset takes some getting used to in terms of vertigo. Once you begin gameplay and immerse yourself in the content, it’s an entirely new gaming experience that has to be witnessed first hand. The device can get a bit warm and feel heavy over time but it’s really ally worth it.
5.0 out of 5 stars HIGH QUALITY VR
As a disclaimer, I bought this PSVR2 on sale for 350$ and the rest of this review will be reflective of THIS price point. At 550$ My rating would drop by one star, but that is for another day.Comfort (4.5/5):So, I’ve only ever owned this VR headset and the Quest 2. I don’t know how it compares to other headsets, but I have always found it to be comfortable enough for a couple of hours without issue. I know that there’s a strap you can buy if you find that it slips during high movement games or depending on your head shape.Library(4.5/5):Taking into consideration the games coming out this year and the fact that this headset probably has at least two more years of content coming to it. I’m happy to say that most of you will be happy with the library! The only issue here is that it doesn’t have Half Life: Alyx. But, given the new PC adapter you find access to two PC (Steam)!Ease of use/installation(5/5):If you use this on PlayStation, there is like ZERO setup (aside from initial or compared to some PC headsets). I’ve personally never had issues with using it or connecting it. I have also never had the controller issues that some people have had, though *OCCASIONALLY (once or twice every dozen hours) I do get controller tracking hiccups from it. But ultimately it is very good and reliable.Graphics(5/5):Now, before anyone is a smart but, no it is not better than a 2-3 THOUSAND dollar setup. If you have money go buy something else. What I am telling you, is if you already bought a PS5/Pro for OTHER reasons then this 350$ price point is an AMAZING offer. The graphics look good and crisp thanks to foviated rendering. It also runs at a consistent 120 fps in the games that I have played it on, which is mainly Arizona Sunshine 1 & 2, GT7, Metro: Awakening, Beat Saber, and No Mans Sky! So I *personally get NO motion sickness.Price(5/5):At 350$, PSVR2 makes a fantastic purchase and a great headset. It’s only real competitor at this price point is Quest 3, which is great as well but for different audiences. However, if you are reading this after the sale the I would say WAIT! The headset is great but it is missing a Alyx sized game to justify 550$
Lo pensaría 2 veces antes de comprarlo
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Si bien la inmersión en el juego es muy buena, no sirve de nada si los controles no funcionan y es una pena que sea un problema conocido que después de mas de 2 años sigue sin solución, peor aún devolverlo y buscarlo en otro lugar no garantiza que funcionará
Excellent
