I was glad to find this movie because I am a Hannah Swensen Mystery movie fan. I thought it was a bit odd that they introduced Hannah's new little sister, when in ALL the other Hannah Swensen Mystery (Cookie Jar Mystery) movies a little sister was NEVER mentioned, only Hannah and Andrea. I didn't think that the chemistry between the New little sister was as good as it was between Hannah and Andrea. They didn't talk about the GRANDDAUGHTER in this movie, which I thought was odd. Any grandmother is going to be showing off pictures and talking about their grandkids, but it was out of sight out of mind. But I still liked the movie.

In this mystery series you wouldn 't expect a baker to be such a persistent detective. Sometimes she involves some of her friends and family and she's so fearless! The chemistry between her, her family, the dentist, and the detective make the mysteries different and fun.

This series is based on Joanne Fluke's book series. Anyone, having read the books would know that Hannah has two sisters Andrea & Michelle. In the books Michelle is a college student. Andrea is married to Bill & Hannah's mother is both a writer & co-owner of an antique store. The movies differ from the books also in regards to Hannah's relationships as she becomes engaged to Mike. In the books, Hannah can never decide between Mike & Norman & is friends with both. It passes the time watching the movies. I think Hallmark should have either stayed closer to the stories as written or else made up their own series, instead of twisting the stories all up.

DVD PLAYED FINE, GOOD MOVIE, LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE FROM THIS SERIES
A solid Hallmark mystery - just not very memorable
The production values are well up to Hallmark's standards, and it was an enjoyable watch, I just found the main story unmemorable - literally. When I started to write this I tried to remember who was killed, how and by whom, and failed miserably (that's a week after seeing it). The secondary story of sister trying to avoid mother and mother trying to get Hannah back with her ex, was far easier to remember.I also thought, the price for single film was a bit steep. I'll probably buy the next in the series (if there is one), but would hope for something more memorable, if I'm going to continue.

This movie has a different sister. I thought that maybe this was another sister and would still see the police officer and wife but they were not mentioned. Even the feel of the movie was different as soon as it started.

I absolutely love the Murder She Bakes series Hannah , Mick are my favourite Murder Mystery couple and this series is amazing.
Very disappointed
I read the reviews and thought I’d buy this dvd as I love the series of movies. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money as It won’t play. I did not see anywhere on the sellers info that it would not play in the UK. Left very disappointed.
