The 5.3 liter containers seal well. Some reviews say the latches are difficult to attach, but I found them easy enough by pressing one side of a piece at a time into the connection joint and pushing down into place using both of my thumbs, one on top of the other. I'm a 64 year old woman who is not particularly strong. The lids are also easy to close onto the containers by placing your palms on the left and right sides of the lid over the latches, pressing lightly downward, then rolling your palms down over the latches. Then turn the container and repeat with the other two sides. If the latches were too easy to attach and to close, I'd be worried that it wouldn't be a tight seal and that insects could get to my contents.I put soapy water in each of the containers, snapped the lids on and shook in every direction to clean them out and to test the seals before using. They didn't leak. They did leak when I put warm water in and shook, but that is to be expected. It would warm the air and expand it in the container, which pushes up on the lid and breaks the seal.I had a difficult time getting one of the lids to seat onto the container, but that was easily remedied. I found that the problem was that the gasket is very thick (which is a good thing) and just needed to be pushed farther into its groove in the lid. After I pushed it in, the lid easily slipped into place on the container.I REALLY like the measuring cups that came with the set. The scoop shape is perfect for scooping out contents, and the different sizes are great to leave in the containers when they are filled to various levels. I also like that there are extra latches included.Overall, I recommend this set.

The locking tabs were easy to install, and work well to provide an air tight seal for whatever needs that kind of storage. For me, it's sugar, rice, and two types of flour, and the included labels let me see which is which. They store over five pounds of any of those items with room to spare, enough to use the provided measuring cups when adding to a recipe. They feel solid, not flimsy in any way, so that I expect to get years of service from them. There were several spare locking tabs included, just in case. Well built and designed product!

I use these containers for flour, sugar, oats, and rice. They’re nice and big and easy to stack for storage. The lids clip and seal nice and the containers durable as well!

Recently purchased this 4piece container set, great quality, quick delivery. I was pleasantly surprised, with the labels, white pen, 4scoops. And, it was on sale, additional perk. Each container holds large quantities; 3lbs peanuts, 5lbs flour & sugar.

They arrived a full day early, minimal packaging, while still being secured. I loved all the little extras! The clamps for the lid are easy to put on ,and take off if needed, and close securely. And they hold so much!! One container will hold one and a half 5 pound bags of flour with jiggling to let it settle. The label stickers apply smoothly and come off easily if you put it on wrong. I’m hoping this means they will come off easily and reattach when I clean the container. The plastic is thin, but feels very sturdy. I stacked two full containers to carry to the pantry and felt no buckling or weakness.There was even a lovely note from the company with an email for any questions or issues with the order!I just got them and another container set three hours ago and had fun filling them all, so I haven’t had time to truly test the durability, but I’m feeling very confident with them. If that changes, I will update my review.

The canisters are just as stated. They’re huge enough for storing flour and sugar and any other storage you can imagine. It is air tight but can be a little tricky when closing the lid. It is definitely worth the money.
