High Bounce Bumper Plates are built from a resilient recycled vulcanized rubber and featuring a 2" stainless steel insert. These plates feature a crumb design.

Bouncy rubber plates allow you to drop a fully loaded barbell without damaging your equipment or floor.
Low Noise
Bumpers are far quieter when they’re dropped on the floor than the other types of plates, because they’re wrapped in rubber.
They’re also usually used with rubber matting, which helps to deaden sound and protect the floor at the same time.
Floor Protection
The thicker width of bumper plates coupled with the flat surfaces on the plates helps to protect your floor.
By spreading the weight across a larger surface area there’s less pressure through one particular spot when the weights are dropped.

They feel solid, I didnt take the time to weigh each one, I trust what the manufacturer says about the weight. They feel and look durable and easy to put on the bar so the diameter of the hole isnt to small. I feel like they are worth the price.

Updating my original review.Seller acknowledged the mistake and shipped the correct product. I now have a complete matching set. :)Ordered a 260lbs set and the 160lbs set. The 260 arrived first, as pictured, and very pleased with the quality. Litte to no oil residue, rubber has a texture to it for easy handling, different weights have different colors, all positives. The one negative is the 10lb plates could be a bit more sturdy but not a huge concern as I am not performing drops / bounces. The 160lbs set arrived second and same review as the 260lb set.Overall it is a great set of weight plates that are perfect for a new gym set up and priced very well.

Very happy with the purchase. I didn't realize these would be completely rubber, but they are. They are not steel plates coated with rubber. I don't know a whole lot about bumper plates apparently, but these seem to work well, and look nice.

I purchased the 165LB plate set a few months ago and I am very satisfied with the purchase. I have a small home gym in my garage with a basic rack and I wanted to expand past my 200LB weight set. Adding these plates as an extension has been perfect. You can really go wrong with bumper plates, there solid and have a good rubber coating like any bumper plate. There not sticky or oily which is great and I didn't notice any kind of smell when I opened them. While there are better plates that are thinner, they cost almost double which in comparison these are better deal.

These weights are GREAT!! They honestly look so sick and I would totally buy again. Sure, they smell a little like tires, but not NEARLY as bad as some weights I’ve looked into and have bought in the past. Also, when I was considering buying these, read that they were very oily, however I did not have that problem at all. I also read some comments that said that they were a little wobbly or bent, which can be expected as they are rubber weights, though again so much better than other weights I’ve had. If you are looking for weights that are 100% solid and classic, of course you should be going for the classic cast iron plate, but in my case with an out door gym they are absolutely perfect and I would (and may) buy again.

At first I was a little nervous because I didn’t receive all of the plates together, but the 45’s were just shipped separately, all came in, all look nice, all seems to be good!
